It's one set and no breaks yet in the 2nd. Roddick will still likely win this match.

Oops! A wee bit premature. Andy wins (albeit a little shaky for us Andy fans).

Andy really shouldn't be pleased with himself. I mean, losing a set to a qualifier? :tape:

Thank goodness for the win. Next time, better playing please, Andy!
Seeing as he hasn't played in 3 weeks - a win is a win, and I hear he was serving well and his forehand got better throughout the match and ended up hitting nice, deep shots so that's always good news.
I'm so glad the grass season has officially begun for us Andy fans :hearts:

I think so too  Or Andy was asleep for the 1st set. I'm going with the 2nd assumption.

I think he can be pleased with how he played towards the end of the match. He was moving well, the footwork was good, he made some great passes and his forehand was fierce. It all looks promising. It was his first match on grass, and he knew little or nothing about Dancevic so it was bound to be a little tough. Credit to Dancevic for playing a good match, he became shaky when pushed though.

Can someone tell me how Frank played? How was is serve and forehand(weapons) and his backhand(major weakness)? Did he serve and volley? How did he return Andy's serve?

Good try Frank! Qualify for Wimbledon and beat him there ;):yeah:

Frank is good, though. Brought Mirnyi to five sets at the DC, I think.

Good job Andy =)

he has not a really big service, and also no killer forehand but his return was awesome!! he will be top 100 i think soon.. he is better then some between 80 and 100

For someone who's first tour tournament was Queens he was very very good. He returned Andy's serve really well, Andy was changing it up a bit in the second/third set but Dancevic in the first set was returning flawlessly. His serve from what i remember wasn't particularly leathel but Andy did find it really hard in the first set to break him, in saying that though Andy found it hard do anything but breath hard in the first set, and even that was louder than usual :retard: . But anyway yeh Dancevic he was a tough opponent he deserves a lot of credit coz he really came out as though he had nothing to prove, played his game but in the end was beating by a better player... :wavey:
