I reckon most of the favourites will win at Queen's Club.

But with the dogs, maybe Lu can beat Verdasco and I think Nadal will beat Fish.

Will not be able to bet until either Murray and Pironkova, or Moodie makes me some cash. But if I have a chance to, I will bet on Rochus, Vliegen, (Pavel in just the one or two bets), (Tursunov in just a few), Henman, Ljubicic, Mahut, Tu, Jackson, and Arvidsson.

Nadal can`t beat Fish in his first match on grass in a year. Mardy won Surbiton last week, and his game if much more suited for grass then Rafael`s. 1.83$ is a gift, 1.45$ on Mardy would be realistic.

Some decent value out there for Wednesday.

The first obvious bet is Mardy Fish at 1.83. As undertaker said it should be more like 1.4ish. Fish is just coming off a good win in the Surbiton Challenger without dropping a set playing guys who arent too bad on grass such as Moodie and Guccione. Beat the big serving leftie Guccione which I feel bodes well for his match up with Nadal. Nadal is just coming off a shattering clay court season and although he would love to do well here it just doesnt seem possible against a player on form. Fish also has a 7-3 record vs Lefties in his last 10 which is a good sign. At 1.83 this is a good bet.

I feel that Bobby Reynolds over Gael Monfils @ 3.1 is a sensible bet. Monfils apparently looked solid against Melzer but as everyone seems to know, he can lose it at any instant. Against Murray and Norman in the French he was absolutely appalling but just against poor opponents. He is still young and very volatile. I think Reynolds has had a good run into Queens and may be able to grind out a victory here.

Agree with Rich and Undertaker - Fish looks decent at the price offered. Not sure whether I'll take it though as I don't entirely believe he will win to be honest. Will decide in the morning.

Just to add to another good point from Rich...Monfils looked impressive against Melzer, but he also slipped so many times on the grass...at times it seemed like he slipped virtually every game. He might be a little sore going into his next match and is certainly not confident with his movement so I expect him to lose in the next couple of rounds. Never seen Reynolds play...but if he possesses a decent power game / serve-volley style then he is worth taking. Anything less would be fanciful.

I have the following parlay lined up and will probably hit it in the morning...

Haas x Srichaphan x Tursunov @ 1.88

Also considering a few others:

Nieminen over Mayer @ 1.66 - I really want to POUND this  But something just doesn't seem quite right about it. I have no idea why Mayer struggled so much with Phau...Nieminen won by an impressive scoreline in what was on paper a difficult match. Mayer is struggling like hell these days and Jarrko is a reasonable player on grass...seems a no-brainer to me. What am I missing?  Feedback appreciated.

Bjorkman over Wang @ 1.57 - I think if Bjorkman executes his game well he should do the business...but I'm a little sceptical after his winning run in RG doubles

1 bet also impending:

Safin x Murray @ 1.60 - 5% stake

Murray seems to be doing his best to lose a hugely winnable match

Dupuis over Gonzalez @ 3.10
Sabau over Ljubicic @ 6
This one are worth a shot i think. I know Sabau's horrible record this year but he has been playing some matches on grass while Ljubo should be a little tired coming of a RG SF. Dupuis looked good in first round against Rusedski. Big serve, good game.

The only thing I can see against betting on Neimo is that Mayer seems to have a decent record against Lefties. However, Mayer has lost to Niemo twice in the last 6months so surely it cancels that out? Mayer is decent on grass too but I feel this is great odds on Niemo so go for it!

There is something very strange going on with odds in the Dupuis-Gonzo match - a lot of money been dumped on Frenchman, something must be up with Gonzo

Dupuis in my book was $3.20 this morning, now he is $2.35

Well yeah...you have read my mind as to the approach for this match

My other leans on Verdasco and Flip won but I might just sit back and see whether Nieminen comes in too. No money on him today. Good luck if you played :yeah:

WRONG!

But with the dogs I think Nadal will beat Fish.

Vamos RAFA!

EASY money!

Ok, Rafa is not great on grass but he has really improved in the last 12 months on ALL surfaces and has beaten some good players on fast surfaces, even Ljubo!

I think he can do OK at Wimbledon.

Neither Federer or Nadal are in the same league as Andy Murray. Andy Murray fights and fights and fights.

In all seriousness, the ease with which Nadal disposed of Fish was promising for all tennis lovers. Verdasco will be a tougher test and despite this great win I'm going to see how I feel much closer to the match before betting on it. I do have a feeling Federer will lose his Wimbledon crown this year and if anyone stop him, why not the muscle man?
