Surprised nobody mentioned this result- seems Bracciali carries on where he left off last year on grass, whilst Feli carries on where he left off all this year.

I see future Wimbledon champion Fernando Vicente won too

Even Donald Young would beat Lopez on a hardcourt nowadays.

HAHA :) For 1 year, I have seen daniele twice in a few days (last time I saw him was wimbledon). I saw bracciali play at surbiton on saturday against johansson :D He served really well, and managed to break johansson a couple of times. He lost 7-5 7-5, but it was a tight match :D and just a few lapses won the match at 5-5 both sets.

He has a great game, nice slices, double and single handed backhand, great backhand. Has nice volleys, really nice serve. He is one of the only few who is actually good to watch on grass.

feli, what will we do with you? Must suck playing with Nadal in doubles. I don't care how laid back and convivial you are, it sucks losing your first round match and them having to play doubles with your buddy the French Open champion.

I'm really confused...why were Bracciali and Johansson at Surbiton last week? They weren't in semis

Congrats Daniel

Why did Lopez get a WC?

These guys both have massive grass court games. Both can frequently serve at over 130mph.

A choke from Lopez when he was serving for the 2nd set :o

I saw a lot of the match on tv during my lunch hour. Daniele is a very shrewd and underrated player whose versatility makes him a tough opponent for anyone in the draw. Wimbledon could well be a happy hunting ground for him again this year.
It's sad to see Lopez's dismal run continue. Ive seen him pull off some great wins at Wimbledon including Canas and Schuettler but he is nowhere near at that standard now.

My poor beautiful Feli. What has happened to you? :( I really thought the grass season might be Feli's turnaround. Oh Lord of Hair gel, Capris, and Snug T-shirts let Feli and Rafa win in doubles.

Exhibition match yes, its a shame he wasnt in the maindraw though (I really wanted to see him in the main draw). He would have rinsed someone like fish who actually won it, but I guess his ranking was too high at the time for the event. Fish was quite poor for most of the week, daniele would have had easy pickings had he played.

Exactly, he has all the shots. One of the most versatile backhands, can slice, use two hands on the return for more control, can blast backhand winners with the one hand. As well as being a great server, he has a great return; which is why he troubled roddick and beat bracciali twice on grass last year.

I remember that classic match with roddick last year, it was probably my favourite match of wimbledon and possibly top 5 matches of 2005. I stil need to get that match on dvd  He showed his ability during that match.

We knew you'd be here.

But LaLo losing (even on grass) doesn't seem noteworthy any more. :banghead:
He really should pay less attention to his hair. I doubt this will help but at least he could try. ;)
