Hall of Fame Induction for Doubles Players

I started wondering about this today considering that Jonas won yet another doubles GS title. It looks like he's won 9 Slams in doubles. In addition, he's been a top 100 singles player for about 12 years, achieving a career high #4 ranking with a Semi at the US Open.

Looking at the Hall of Fame site, it looks like the only strictly doubles players (at least that I'm familiar with are Hewitt/McMillan). I'm guessing that they're waiting for Woodbridge to become eligible, and that they'll elect the Woodies at the same time.

What do you think about Jonas' chances? Nine slams seems like an awful lot. Plus, he's had a very consistent singles career. I have no idea what the criteria might be for doubles players. Also not sure if the controversy with the new doubles format may play a role.

Shriver got in. Jonas should get in.
