Australia vs. Japan

Best bet on these in under 2.5 goals for me. Very important game for both sides, loser is basiclly out of competition for 1/8 finals. Both teams will be very careful, and are pretty even in terms of quality. I take draw also.

Czech vs. USA

Odds on Czech`s are good, USA is tough nut, but i fancy Czech to win. They are experienced, and this is thier last chance of generation to do big on World Cup, so they will be motivated.

Italy vs. Gana

Gana not to score, Italy has one of strongest defenses around and i just can`t see how Gana is gonna score a goal in this match.

Bring it on brother,Take Aussies to win in a statment game although it might be just a 1-0 win still good enough

Leaning on Socceroos to get a win in the World Cup for 30yrs coming, also Czech are worth a shot,With the Italians they might have the best Defence but Ghana has some zip that could trouble!!Some great clashes 2nite,hopefully kicks off well with the first game :)

Italy @ 1.61 against Ghana

IMO Italy should win this game..since they will facing USA and Czech after this game and it definately is not going to be easy against them...so i think they will be looking to be on the top by defeating ghana today....If they draw or lose this game they are probably making it harder for themselves to even qualify.

Was a unstressful 88 minutes while my bet lasted. What a game. Japan had their chances, and so did Australia before they bowled over the japs

Oh well, cant win them all. Hopefully this will teach me not to be against my country

Had four bets on the Aussie game. Correct score 3-1 ($30 on Betfair), Over 3.5 goals ($5.3 on Betfair), Australia first corner ($1.91 on Pinnacle), Australia ML ($2.52 on Betfair).

Somehow fluked them all and can only wish I had more than $10 on the correct score. Gave the ML bet and correct score away very early

Nah he was producing already b4 he got to Everton ;) btw how long will he be stayin there now, guess not too long!!!Alot of clubs would be after his golden boot not to mention the guy is a wonderful header aswell, double service!!!Even Newcastle United woudnt be out of reach,or could he go to the Gunners

Everton are a much bigger club than Newcastle United. Everton are the fourth most successful club in England and one of the richest in terms of history. I think it would take a bid of £8-10m for Everton to even consider letting him go. I do agree that if he scores a few more goals (which he can) there might be a few *big* clubs chasing after him. But he loves it at Everton. Don't think he'll be leaving the great toffees.

I thought Newc was bigger thats why i suggested it but thanks for the clear up,I was looking at Liverpool can he join Kewell??but then there's Peter Crouch there already!Would love to see Timmy joining Gunners or Man United, but like you said he might be too happy where he is,my friend and i were discussing Peter Beattie trade n how good it would be for Everton but unfortunately it has switched on yet,i guess the guy has had problems with injuries of late, one of my many favourite players, class act when fully fit and his finishing is superb!!
