Queen's winner?

Will Roddick win Queens again? Will someone manage to stop him (Ljubicic perhaps?)

Andy and Lleyton haven't been at their best this year, hopefully they will be challenged.

Gonzalez is my dark horse, you watch him go. :)

I have a feeling that Hewitt is on his way back on grass. Let's see.

Me too. After that ferocious battle he put up against the best clay courter - Nadal on CLAY - it seems like he's on his way back to the men's tennis elite.

Roddick vs Hewitt - the other rivalry

For some reason I really think that Blake will win. I have no idea of his previous grass form (and can't be bothered to look it up) but recently he has looked very strong - especially on fast surfaces.

If in fact he hates grass as much as Safin - I would think it would be between Roddick and Hewitt with Roddick my slight favourite. I agree with others - gonzalez could be a dark horse.

Hewitt v Agassi in the semi-final

It will be interesting to see if Tursunov can get through his section. He could be a threat against Agassi/Henman.

Hewitt or Agassi.

Who says Nadal is just drunk or smoked.

Hewitt  He was playing pretty good on clay [RG], and considering clay is his worst surface and grass is one of her best, Why can he win Queens?

Feña has a slighty chance to make it! I doubt it anyway!
Roddick, Hm I don't think so,
Karlovic was the man! such a shame He had to retire while playing the qualies, actually He should have got a WC, but He was the one who forgot to signed up on time..
The winner of Agassi/Henman could have a nice run :yeah:

Hewitt put up a hell of a fight against Nadal and I think that should be a good booster for the rest of his year. I think he takes this title

You would think Ljubicic could play well in grass but i don't think he's had good results on the green stuff.

Roddick is just out in tennis limbo. His awful year will suck a little more.

I would put Gonzo and Davydenko as dark horses.

Ljubicic def Blake in QF(makes it 5-0 career vs Blake) then beats Roddick in SF(makes it 3-0 since 2005) and beats whoever in the final :)

Really hard to tell as the draw is so tough!

Top contenders in the top half - Fish, Johansson, Mirnyi, Hewitt, Tursunov, Stepanek, Henman (but apparently his back is bothering him again  )

Top contenders in the bottom half:

I feel that the 3rd quarter of the draw will be very tightly contested. 2 huge-serving encounters involving Rusedski, Dupuis, Flip and Moodie...one of them could emerge to the QF but the favourites would be Gonzo or Grosjean to progress to meet Roddick in QF. Essentially, Roddick will find QF match tough.

Ljubo should advance through another easy draw ( ) into the QF and meet Murray or Blake...will hopefully get spanked by either of them! :yeah:

Otherwise, main contenders in bottom half are Gonzo, Grosjean, Roddick, Blake, Murray and Ljubo.

Predicted final: Stepanek v Roddick.
Predicted winner: Roddick

Yeah he is good to make QF and hopefully will meet Murray...for once a Brit might beat a Croat...he has the game for it

But yeah...he could make the final :banghead:

I feel Ljubo, but somehow.. he cant seem to do the business on grass since his days of reaching a Wimbledon Jun final in 1996, losing to the mighty Vlad the impalor.

can A-Rod break the four in a row curse that Mcenroe and Hewitt never could

Off course I meant grass. Ljubicic has a very poor record on grass, in fact it's even worse than his clay record. Considering this is the only tournament where Andy has beaten Agassi and Hewitt, do you really fancy Ivan's chances?

Now that Karlovic isn't in the draw, no-one can stop Hewitt. ;)Well done.

Roddick will probably be so geeked when he faces Muller he'll play the fool. Blake had better get through his tricky section of the draw.

I hate to see Gonzalez "waiting" for Rusedski. I wish Greg would just go away.

Always the same story

"Ljubo will not make it to the 2nd week of AO" - QF
"Ljubo will not make it to the 2nd round of RG" - SF

THIS Ljubo (version 2.0) NEVER player on GRASS! So we don't know how will he play on grass.

This is not Ljubo v1.0, is so hard to understand?

Anyway I'm not saying he will do well on grass, I don't know that. But saying he will not make a good work on grass because he never has in the past is not logical (same was for clay). It's clear that he has impoved on ALL surfaces. And what is important - in his head. Ok, he is not a winner like Fed and Nadal, but is also not a loser like he was in the past years ;)

I can't wait to find out. In fact I hope Ivan makes it to the semis.

I believe Andy has beaten him on hard, clay and carpet. It would be nice to complete the set with a grass win and extend that lovely little h2h. ;)

roddick will win. people have forgotten that roddick sucked it up last year, too, until he reached queens and wimbledon. nadal and fed are out due to reaching the RG final. agassi lost to henman. if roddicks ankle doesnt give him any trouble, his improved forehand should be enough to bring the trophy home over his opponents, who i dont see being able to break him on grass.
