Why 1pm? They haven't started at 1pm the entire tournament.

Yeah but men's matches are longer... and from what I can see on the general tournament schedule here (http://www.rolandgarros.com/en_FR/about/schedule.html) they have the 2 mens semis and the mixed double final scheduled for Charteir on Friday. On Wed with a smiliar schedule Nadal/Djok; Ljub/Benn; and a mixed they started at noon.

But whatever... I'm just hoping there's no rain and the men get to complete their matches and rest up on Sat.

I checked the Roland Garros website and it only shows the matches for the women's semifinals. It doesn't seem to show the men's semifinals matches and their schedules. Isn't the men's semifinals today?

As Fed-Nalbandian will be the highlight tomorrow they'll probably schedule it after Nadal-Ljubo match up...

am i the only one who's seriously pissed bc of the ridiculous night session matches in rome? i'm not able to watch a lot of matches during the day session because i got stuff to do so i'm normally looking forward to great matches in the evening - but what do i see? yesterday that boring bolelli match and today it's starace vs. karlovic.

i have no problem with a schedule that matches national interests, but come on. it would be alright if starace was up against nadal or something, but this is really absurd. why not put him in the day session, last match, biggest court? fine with me. or give him some 4 pm slot, no problem. but the night session should be reserved for top players.

I know - Starace vs Karlovic - how they spoil us.

At least you didn't pay real money on centre court to see Rocket Roddick fry the Fish.

ok, now they've completely lost it:

there are some very good matches tomorrow for the night session: roger vs. starace for example would be very interesting (if the italian beats karlovic today). djokovic vs. andreev is equally good in my opinion. even gonzalez vs. almagro could be a hell of a fight with tons of shotmaking. and then there's the match wawrinka vs. ferrero, another encounter that promises brilliant tennis from both sides.

yet the night session match is gonna be davydenko-robredo. unbelievable. both have ok games, but compared to the other alternatives tomorrow it looks just silly to market this thing as the match of the day. and that's what night sessions are about during the week when normal people have to work and are looking forward to great action in the evening, right?

*edit: even roddick-bolelli would be twice as interesting as the davydenko-match.

because Seppi and Starace are italians.

I think it's pretty clear that whoever is making the schedule is absolutely insane/bias or whatever.
Aside the scrazy court scheduling, they have a wack time scheduling.
The Starace-Karlovic match is still on and the winner is scheduled to play the second match of the day tomorrow with Federer. So if Novak-Igor match lasts for 2 hours, and the current match still has one more set to go, the winner has less than 17 hours to rest!
The same thing happened yesterday. Simon ended his match around 11pm and played the match 18 hours later...with (surprisingly) an Italian and (of course) lost.

Agree - barking. I mean Robredo - Davydenko? No offence but...
