Cute kid. And Bridgette looks good for once in that picture, in most of the pics/footage I've seen of her she isn't smiling and she looks like hard, bitchy almost. The smile (and baby) soften her up plenty.

The Agassi kids will have a greater genetic advantage though since both parents are great champions.

Hmm... Looking forward to a Sampras-Agassi rivalry in 15 years or so

Who say so, you? I saw lots two great athletes has kids and the kids dont turn out like them at all... :( :(

And did you know that London Bookmakers has Christian to win Wimbledon before he was even a week, not jaden gil...

I will find the article and post it here for you - cheers. :wavey:

Below is the the article.

First child Christian Charles Sampras was born 21 November 2002 in Los Angeles. London, UK bookmakers have given Christian a 150-1 chance to win Wimbledon (Sampras has 7 Wimbledon titles); he's a 2,000-1 shot to beat Wimbledon champs Andre Agassi (Sampras's arch-rival) and Steffi Graf's son, Jaden Gil, in a Wimbledon final.

Here is another part of that same article,,,,

Though Sampras closed the book on his distinguished career on that August evening, odds makers have already accepted bets on Sampras' son adding to his Grand Slam legacy.

Six days after Christian Sampras' birth, British bookmaker William Hill set the odds of the baby adding to his father's extensive Wimbledon championship collection at 150-1.

"Nobody gets a better genetic chance at Wimbledon than Pete Sampras' kids," William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe told Bloomberg News.

i think jaden gil will own him, theres a lot of reasons, first he will actually have memoriws of his father playing at pro level and it will be a motivation, both parents are legends of the game and im sure will train him, he already have a contract to play when he reach certain age, its already state that he love tennis i dont remember where i heard iy

but anyway really all that means nothing actually, it just give little better odds to jaden i think but anything could happen

the maternal genes will actually contribute something tennis-worthy on jaden's side, and potentially less so for christian

of course, im pretty sure that steffi genes will have influence and i dont see an actreess helping in that field so im puting all my vcash (as you can see im the emperor of mtf) on jaden

What are the odds on your son becoming a grand slam winner, I reckon Andre Agassi's child surely will become a tennis player with him as a dad and Steffi Graff as the mum, he'll get grand slam winning genes from one of em

Let's just hope that he learns to walk normally. ;) :p

I would actually be surprised if either of those kids became tennis players. Too much pressure. Why would they want to put themselves through that?

Not to mention that these kids will have so much money they won't have to work one day of their life. Not much motivation to sweat and suffer on the courts and then inevitably be compared to their parents every single time they play.

Exactly. Brigette wasn't even atheletic enough to not get killed in House on Haunted Hill. Jaden will kick his ass.

Off the tennis court, Pete's a pretty laid back guy. I don't think he'd want the kind of pressure, that would undoubtedly come, if his kid were to pursue a career in tennis. But, I suppose he'd let his kid do whatever he chooses to do. I just don't think he would push him into tennis.

LOL, I just went back in this thread and saw this post. How did the bookmakers reach that conclusion? Did they examine both kids' DNA? I will be convinced only after seeing gene chip analysis results and relevant publications in the Nature Genetics journal...:p

So why dont you go and look it up   same like how they say Roger would win this year Wimbledon and he did win - these are odds makers not the science council, Metis.

Come on Angiel, don't take it so personally! In fact, I couldn't care less whether the Sampras and Agassi kids will become great tennis players when they grow up and which one will be better. We are simply having some fun here. I just think it is ridiculous that the bookmakers are making predictions about such things before these kids can even walk and talk. :smash:
Totally different situation from making predictions about Roger winning Wimbledon. Even the 6-day old Christian could have made that prediction.

Anyway, usually the offspring of great minds, athletes, musicians, etc., don't reach the same heights as their parents have. Has anybody heard anything about Einstein's kids or Mozart's kids, to mention some very well known examples?
