No, maybe one day.
He had a quite easy draw in RG and a real all surface player is Nalbandian, Federer or Agassi (not nowadays) who have reached at least SF in all the GS.

Federer needs to make the Semis (ie. play) at the Paris Indoor to make the Semis of every one of those tournaments, plus the TMC. He already has the quarters everywhere...interesting that indoor would the be surface holding him back.

Ljubicic continues to be underated. At year start numerous posters noted his failure in grand slam events. He has now reached 2 quarter finals.

Ljubicic still has to perform on a grass court.

Hidalgo defeated Ferrer, easily.
He had people here kissing his ass during this clay season.
If you want to call this draw an easy one fine, I'm with you, just don't hype these players before they lose to Ljubo.

he's a very good player but he's not great on clay. Very soft draw to the quarters.

Come on.. Forget about those claycourters who played well in early clay.. That was a clay it is supposed to be.. Now.. This is a very fast clay in Paris. The fastest that I've ever seen.. That's the only reason.. A clay that an ordinary claycourt specialist can't do much on. Where are them? All gone.. Fastcourters like Hewitt, Tursunov, Blake, Ljubicic, Ancic are not beating low-ranked claycourters for nothing.. Conditions.. Blake smacking winners past Almagro on proper clay? Gimme a break..

He did play against clay court specialists but they are mentally weaker, that's why Mónaco didn't win. Their rankings are much lower than Ljubicic's and that might be because of the mental part.

Please admit he had an easy draw.

I wouldn't call him an all-around player, given the disparity of his level indoors against his level on clay. He is able to get a few consecutive wins here and there, but he's far from being consistent on clay. Hewitt, for example, has done QF or better in all slams, and people don't call him an all-around player, because there's clearly a weakest surface for him.

As for Ljubicic's performance on grass, we'll have to wait and see, but for now his record there is anything but impressive.

Same for Safin, actually..

Ljubicic is in the easiest quarter. Nalbandian has the toughest.

You mean Davydenko, right...? Who has Nalbandian had to play so far? (I know they're in the same quarter, but really, Davy did all the dirty work)

Quite true, he has no more win in a master serie or grand slam on a surface rather than another.
