I saw this elsewhere..ther person was responding to a question about Hingis' new powerful shoulders...

Hingis is one of those players like Nadal who have been associated with a certain U.S. men coach, based in san francisco, the home of Balco, and one of his ways of maximising talent seems to be the good old "juice." It's no secret that players like Nadal and Ancic used to visit him (even staying at his home) to get the "set up." Journalist Eleanor Preston has written that when rusedski wanted the set up his dad said that , he , the dad, was the one who went directly to balco because the people who had connections would have nothing to do with his son. Long story, but..hmmm.
Notice that any male player associated with Hingis suddenly has a meteoric rise in the game...Norman, stepanki. They ought to be testing what these players are drinking.aw this elsewhere...

From what I understand Brad Gilbert lives in San Francisco and he used to work with hingis at the early stage of her vcareer. It is also well known that Nadal and Ancic, among other players, including Tursunov visited him on a regular basis in the home of Balco.

The substances that are taken to mask illegal drugs by changing pH, concentration of urine etc are well known and documented. These days it's almost impossible to mask/clear something.

That's funny because I thought Hingis was always jokingly connected with cursing careers of the players she was involved with rather than being the reason for a rise. Julian Alonso was quite promising, started dating Hingis and was hardly heard of afterwards. Ivo Heuberger was never going to be a GS winner but he slumped badly after seeing Martina for a while. Magnus Norman was forced out of the game through injuries. Even Sergio Garcia in golf started slumping when Martina was on the scene. I'm just glad she never got too close to Roger. So Sampras is involved now? I don't think I'm being naive but it's a bit too easy to jump to conclusions purely based on links to people players know. Etcheberry worked with Davenport, Sharapova and Tracy Austin too, so where do you draw the line at people who could be involved, based on the fact they are all linked somehow.
