Nalbandian - Vasallo Arguello

What do you think? common sense says david should make it with ease, but i don´t know, Martin is doing well, and seems to be quite confident, he may be the next Puerta.............(let´s hope he doesn´t have issues with doping though ;) )

never heard of the other bloke but Daveed is not playing well. I doubt he will be a threat to Federer or Robredo(if he beats Fed)

I'd think David in 3 if he's having a good day and not complaining about how shitty the court is - hopefully the match will be in Chatrier. But since Arguello seems to be playing well, perhaps he could win a set. So yeah, Nalbo in 3 or 4.

Nalbandian's intensity and precision could be too much at this point of the tournament, but Martin is dangerous, he wants it so badly, he will fight every single point with his life and this could complicate David, in case his weapons are not fully charged.

I like Nalbandian, but I can't deny I got really moved with Vassallo this week and I don't want this tournament to finish for him.

Nalbandian is the superior player but Martin will be very motivated and could pose a problem for Nalby.

But i think Nalbo will get the job done in 4 :yeah:

Fellow Argentines have unprecedented respect for David.
Accordingly, Martin will soil his pants, getting blown away in straights.

Nalbandian is the type who'll punish players with little confidence, but hide inside his shell when sturdy competition engages.

I got really moved with Arguello too, but there is no way I'd root for him and against David. If David wakes up, he's the only one with a realistic chance to beat Roger.

MVA is older than David and he's a challenger-level journeyman. The god-like treatment Nalbandian and Coria receive in Argentina has its effects mostly on youngsters like Monaco, Del Potro, Emiliano Massa, etc. MVA knows that he's got the opportunity of a lifetime and will try to not make things easy for Nalbandian IMO. But obviously there's a technical abyss between the two, that has nothing to do with respect.

The thing is that Martin is very motivated as somebody said, he will fight every single point as if it was the last one....
Anyway, 4th round at a Grand Slam for a challenger-level player is one heck of a result!
