After the first 2 sets, i thought he was done for, but he proved me wrong by fighting to the end.
I thought he was going to choke at the end, but luckily he pulled trough.

It was too much to expect Dima to win the match over five sets. He should have finished the match in three.

Nalbo was 40-0 when he was serving for match (5/2) and the he lost the game, I was a bit scared but then he could finish it.

Did Tursunov play that well in the first two sets or was Nalbandian just hitting tons of UEs? I only saw 1-2 games on Eurosport and noticed the immense speed in the rallys. Tursunov was really going for the winners in these.

damn but these massive forehand shots was so impressive by Tursunov. Defenetly great talant for HC and grass...

Good job by David to outlast Dima, because Tursunov was in very good form for 2 sets and a bit. I think David's going to have to go up a few gears in this tournament, though - playing 5 set matches in R3 isn't what he wants to be doing at all.

Dima was really going for his shots in the 1st 2 sets, he really rattled David. I expected an upset from the way they were both playing.

A very strong turnaround for Nalbandian!

In my heart of hearts, I never believed Nalbandian would lose this match. Still, I am miffed at Dmitry for giving me hope.

Losing today would have been totally unexceptable from Dahveed.

I really thought Dmitry had him at 2 sets to 0 down but just shows how great a tennis player and how mentally strong Nalby is. Good for him :)

Was there live for the match. For 2 sets Dima's forehand was world class, and his backhand return was giving David no where at all to serve. Didn't help that David couldn't seem to get his short-angle forehand to anything other than clip the tape or land just wide.

Third set, David started to dig in, get the forehand angles working and to move Dima out of position. Then came these delicate drop-shot points, a few backhand winners, and voila: Dima was no longer secure enough in foooting (he actually fell twice) or positioning to tee off. That was pretty much the difference, folks. Much too little and too close for myself, the Argentinian crowd around me and Nalbdy fam, friends and team seated two rows away.......

What the hell hapenned here?
