looks like a thriller so far. Almagro takes the first set 7-6 in another rain delayed match. why so many rain delays? Why can't they build a bloody roof.

its so bad now that Nadal's 2nd round match is played today, so it means he's behind a lot of players

almagro pushed a little boy with a big roland garros ball aside when i was walking to the tunnel for the players. the boy only wanted a autograph... everyone was looking like

He is not. Blake is giving him a beatdown. Watch the match before making such comments. If Blake plays like this, and with this type of condition, he could take out any claycourter. It's aggression all the way.

Me too, I haven't had too much respect for James clay skills but now that he's won a set against Almagro it would be great if he and Nadal face off in QF.

Tentative service game from Blake--Almagro breaks for fist time, serving 3-1 in 3rd.

Can sense this set getting away from Blake, now 4-1 Almagro.

blake serving for the 3rd set @ 5-4 30-15. This match was ALL Blake from the get-go, if he converted on his bps, this match would be over!

I do think Almagro is overrated and he has a horrid on-court personality. When he was losing in that 2nd set, he was snapping at the ball kids. I think his actions even drew some whistles from the crowd. Anyway, from the get go I've thought Blake will win this, so I'm feeling good that my crystal ball is working    .....

I know.................but I don't see pigs flying   And, might I say, I was one of the few that actually thought Blake could win this match (obviously, I have a smug look on my face :p )

Now, I hope Blake can close out this match.........

hahahaha, how pathetic is Patrick McEnroe?? I love how he talks about Almagro as if he were some clay court God so that James' win seems that much bigger than it really is!!!

Excellent performance by Blake. His game translates anywhere IMO. I hope he can get his head to translate as well. It was aggression all the way. Against anyone, he would have been had to beat as well. Anyways, good luck to him.

You're mixed up. Roger played on Sunday then on Wednesday. This was the official schedule. Rafa played on Tuesday then was supposed to play on Thursady but because of rain delay (force majeur, not scheduled) , his 2nd-round match was delayed. :)
