Dima is Henman's boogeyman (or is it blogman)

Tursunov made a deal with Canas, he'd take care of Henman until he gets back.

Dima won two matches on clay! :aparty: He isn't a clay specialist, but I guess he has much less pressure against Tim! :)

Such a shame for Tim, that missed overhead volley as well, i read that he said it was a terrible terrible mistake to make. Anyway, well done Dmitry, I've formed a little crush on him since that match!! :)

Yep - Tim had his chances in that 4th set - he had Dima rattled and was playing the better match on the resumption today but those 8 break points missed, including that absolute sitter of a high forehand volley that he dumped into the net - they really broke the spell Henman had weaved and Dima stepped up and took over again.

Tim should be kicking himself and I have no doubt he is.

Still - on the plus side, Tim is playing some good tennis, in spite of that loss - would be nice if he can carry it forward to the grass court season and make a dent in the draw at Queens.

It's funny how fate will make two players play each other all the time ... like Mauresmo and Ivanovic ... or Moya and Nadal.

I think the organisers do it on purpose

Yeah I bet Tim is sick of the sight of Dima and fervently hopes they land on opposite sides of the draw at Wimbledon and the US Open or he could be on the business end of a Dima-Henslam.

There's something about the Tursunov game he just doesn't like

Tim  I didn't think he'd win this match anyway.

The most bizarre case was Massu and Daniel earlier this year.

Congrats to Dima. 2 matches in a row, on clay, wow. That's a great RG for him :)

despite Henman feeling he is playing better this year and happier with tennis i still see the same :bs: attitude on court he's had for the last year... he's just not the same and even v Carlsen he looks so fed up with it all, whenever he loses a point he has a face like a guy who's lost 1,000,000 quid and found 5 ..
also today he missed a huge BP in the fourth set, and how?? missing a smash from 1 feet over the net then got broke in the next game, it sums up everything about him and his career thesedays.
then afterwards he moaned and groaned about bad scheduling/weather bla bla
if he is not a retired player by the end of 2006 id be very surprised.

There's something about the Tursunov game he just doesn't likeYes, its very simple..
Tursunov is one of the hardest hitters of the ball on tour

Henman is one of the weakest hitters of the ball on tour.

in boxing terms, its a heavyweight vs. a featherweight

yes far more amazing is that Tursonov is in the 3rd round of Roland Garros beating 2 former top 5 players (albeit both far from that level)

He'll be very dangerous at Wimbledon.
