great win
quite comfortable
I like the little belgian
he makes it look easy
I always wonder how much better he could have done with a few more centimeters & a few pounds
gives hope to the rest

Olli rocks :worship:
great win, it seems like nobody can stop him. Who will? Next round Martin, and then possibly stepanek or marcos-benneteau. He's in a pretty good side of the draw... maybe he can get to the quarters
c' mon olli

I did not know this but it is only the second time Ollie makes it to the 3rd round in Paris, and last time is 5 years ago. And as I type, I realize that I have seen that match, it was on center court against Kafelnikov.
It would be nice if Ollie could make it to the QF of a Slam.

Go Olivier, this is your chance to reach the QF!

Great chance for the quarters for Rochus. Take advantage of the draw Ollie.

Oli is on a roll! He only lost 7 games in the first round and now 4. Very impressive :D

A good performance here will push him further towards the top-20. I've much believe he can accomplish that at the end of year

A quick match like this bodes well for little Oli, since fitness is often what lets him down in the slams.

He does have an excellent opportunity for a QF here if he holds his nerve and doesn't allow the pressure to tell - his next two rounds are winnable matches if he keeps a high standard of play.

You know, this little guy Olivier Rochus is highly under-rated. He has so much fighting spirit. It is also shocking his ranking is not higher. It seems that he rarely crashes out early in the tournaments he enters and when he does lose he always puts up a great fight. I can remember some of his most recent losses, there were close tiebreaks and 7-5 sets. Best of luck, O. Rochus! You're a joy to watch!

I guess you're right. I've looked up his losses this year and most of them are close three setters, even against Federer and Nadal.
