Nice win for Carlos. From what little they showed on ESPN, he appeared to be hitting well and playing with confidence. If he hits like that against Davy, he should be able to take him. Way to go carlos...keep it up!

Ew, Brad. :o And ESPN showed a bit of Moya/Youzhny, but they'd obviously decided that showing us Ashley Harkleroad (read: pretty/blonde/American) was more important. I get the marketing logic, and I'm all for seeing lower-ranked players from my own country, but when a former FO champ is playing, at the FO? :o Whatever!
I was dissapointed not to see more of the match too. I agree, showing Harlkeroad was expected and a logical programming choice for them...but...with all the rain delays today there was ample time to show more of the Moya match rather than the blather we had to listen to from Brad as they wasted time and the re-rerun of Andy's loss yesterday as another filler. I don't think ESPN will ever catch on to the fact that tennis fans actually like to see good tennis while it's live (or at least fresh), even if it means watching non-americans. But I don't want to turn this into an ESPN rant. Ah well..at least we saw some of it.

well, also, Moya's court shut down before Harkleroad's did. They played for a good amount of time in the rain , and the main courts didn't spend that much time on court during some of the rain.

But yeah, I was disappointed to not see much of Carlos. Oh well.
