Kevin's chances to beat Nadal are not good, to put it mildly, so James is really the only hope to have an American player in the mid-rounds of the tournie.

Americans are not clay oriented at all... this is sad.

Kim's only chance is if Nadal injures himself working on his blog. I'm afraid Blake's chances aren't much better.

I say it will be a great success for American men if at least one of them reaches 3rd round.
Obviously if Kevin can battle with Nadal and takes a set off him or something, that would be great, too.

Almagro is a special and the only way Kim beats Nadal is if Rafa has to retire from the match.

Both will be ousted by Spaniards in the 2nd round, just like Roddick and Ginepri.

i'm not so sure about that, his forehand is not as huge as Blake's...

I've already told Blake to make the rallies forehand to forehand. The way the people on this thread are talking, this guy is unbeatable on Clay. I didn't know his name was Nadal.

 I guess I wouldn't complain about that, I mean, there are enough Russian women around, but I don't think she would agree to defect...

Only because his ranking is not high enough for him to gain direct entry to all 3 AMS. He wasn't able to qualify for Monte Carlo because he won the title in Valencia the week before. And for Hamburg, he was playing in Rome and lost in QF to Federer.
