Anybody looking forward to Murray Vs Monfils...

I really hope this will be a good match. It sucks that these to young ones have to face so early. I like them both, but want Monfils to do well in front of the home crowd.

Monfils will easily win in straight sets.
In Hamburg Monfils was tired as he reached semi's at Rome and could not play well. But now he is fresh and ready and also playing in front of his crowd.

I really hope you are right. The only problem I see is that Monfils is so damn wishy washy. You never know what you will get when he plays.

If Monfils is wishy-washy, what does that make Murray? If the former plays like crap for the first hour and a half but can keep the match going beyond that time, chances are the latter will have another cramping attack.

Actually I am expecting a pretty crappy match.

I'm looking forward to it, but I don't let my expectations grow too high...tennis quality-wise ;)

Murray's fitness has to be in dispute! What is wrong with the Brits and tennis!? Murray has a great game and the potential to go far...but all these cramps and sick on court stuff does my head in.

I can't see it being high - quality to be honest but it is an exciting match-up and it is a pity I can't watch it

Murray's fitness - lack of it - will be the telling factor...he has the game to break Monfils down and hopefully he will do it again tomorrow.

He needs to eat better - those foot-long subs and other junk he consumes really don't help :o

Good luck Andy! :yeah:

It could be a great match - it could be atrocious.

Both of these young guns are having very erratic seasons so far so who knows what will show up tomorrow.

3 years from now these two will probably be having very entertaining matches whenever they play but right now it's perhaps too early for both of them to produce a spectacle.

I'm looking forward to this match, especially to Murray. I hope he wins and maybe has a little run at this tournament or the next ones.

I'm hoping Monfils wins, especially as he is playing in front of his home crowd :)

I think Andy will win if he lasts that long. He is so fragile physically though you can never put him as favourite in slam best of 5 set match

Monfils was doing pretty well in Rome, but then played horribly in Hamburg. Well, and Murray really is in a slump right now. At least the winner of this match should be able to make it into the 3rd round (to lose against Blake or Almagro). Despite Murrays win in their last match, I am betting on a 3 or 4 sets win for Monfils.

I'm def looking forward to this match. Andy has Gael's #. First stopping his junior GS then thrashing him in Hamburg.

Should be an interesting match - more so to see how Muzza deals with the crowd

I predict a miserable match with Murray scraping through in 4.

I don't think that Murray is very good on clay. Monfils will win this, he's very motivated and the crowd will help him.

If it was in Wimbledon, I would predict the other way round.

Murray to win.
