Australia v Greece

International friendly tonight in Melbourne for the Socceroos up against the Euro 2004 champs, who unbelievably didn't even qualify for the world cup. If ever I bet on an friendly match I always tread carefully for obvious reasons.

Still believe Australia gets it done though, even though half the crowd will be supporting for the Greeks :rolls:

Australia to win - $2.20

Also taking unders 2.5 - $1.60

Dukes won't play a full game so Australia will be pretty short up forward and add to the fact Kewell and Cahill won't be playing, not really sure where the goals will come from. Greece as it is are a very defensive minded sided. Hopefuly 1 will be enough for the Aussies.

Under 2.5 goals has taken my fancy for a while on this one .. all the talk from the Aussies' camp this week has been about tight defense .. Australia is hardly a prolific scoring side at the best of times let alone when the above mentioned names are missing..

Cracking goal by Skoko .. 1-0 Socceroos 15th minute .. Hopefully the Aussies sit on that lead for a while BG ..!

Fluuuuuuuuuuuuukes, Australia 1-0 up should be 2-0 from a PK, Greeks are up to their usual shirt pulling antics.
