I'm tempted to hit up my favorite player to back, Radek, too, surely he can't lose to Max on clay? Max's results kinda scare me though, but Radek is a much better player and won't be a no show (Simon) or a headcase (Kiefer) in a quarterfinals of a TMS.

Becareful mate on Radek,Max's odds of 2.90 is more value then Steanek @ 1.40!!Also if Radek's does beat the Beast i feel it will be in a tight 3 sets!!Leaning on the Beast to continue his destructive ways!!

True, I'm not liking the line very much, I'll probably just lay off of it.

Acasuso x Stepanek @ 2.3 (Betfair)

Can't see these favourites losing. Jose has been red hot and Step won't lose to the beast

Dementieva is currently @ 1.90, which I found to be great value if there's nothing wrong with her.

Off topic - I'm not sure I understand how to make these 'hand made' parlays, so If someone would be kind enough to explain..

It will only work if the matches are after each other.

Bet on your first match and then place whatever is returned on the second match - simple!

And my favourite one!
Dementeva-Safina
I lost so much money on Elena through past years before I found out how to bet her:
Deamon to win 2:1 @3.4 (this one is 3 seta for sure)
Safina to win 1st set @1.89 (Safina is hot those days and will be up after first)
My prediction Dementeva-Safina 3:6 6:4 6:0

Karate Kid is great value at 4, you'll probably get an even better price when Davydenko is serving for the match.

Thanks elroyf ,simple indeed.

other thoughts on the WTA today.

Taking a better look at the Dementieva/Safina match I see that Dementieva has a poor record against fellow russians, especially on clay, where she's 0-6 since 2003, so this could maybe explain the odds.

Out of those six losses one was a retirement against Safina, two losses against Myskina, back when Myskina was a tennis player, two tight 3 set losses to Kuznetsova and Likhovtseva and a loss here at Rome to Sharapova. So two losses to on-fire Myskina and two tight losses to good players are not scaring me :)

All that being said, I still think she'll win if she starts grinding Safina down.

Venus is value against Jankovic.

Haven't seen Oprandi playing but I guess her run ends here.

Hingis should take down Pennetta but the odds are not tempting, because if Pennetta can play a set consistently she can actually win it, and she is 8-1 in three setters this year.

Ancic to beat Davydenko @ 3.4..For me Nikolay is the favourite to win but only like a 60-40 favourite..When Mario serves well he could beat Davy! The last couple of weeks he put up some good fights against RRH and Blake..I guess this match is gonnna go into a deciding set and hopefully Ancic will win..

When is Davydenko serving for the match?

I found out the hard way around here not to make remarks like that

Had 30 units myself on Super Mario at 4.3 but did not say anything as I did not want to jinx myself ;)
