Yeah, it is because it is also the week of Wimbledon qualifying. The cut-off is always very very low so you usually get some interesting players in the main draw (Kirill Ivanov-Smolensky, Tobias Klein to name a few  :p). Nottingham always has a poor field too, but usually a few more doubles players play qualies there.

I don't know if they will post the results on the website, as I am almost always there to watch in real life

Uhm as much as I would like those Swiss guys to get a WC, I would find that very ridiculous

Haase just is not that good  Just check his 2006 results. He's hardly beat any good players.

Just give a WC to Melle  Or Huta Galung even. Or bigger Dutch talents like De Bakker.

And for your information, as much as I love Carly Gullickson, I found the WCs she got for Rosmalen and Luxembourg quite silly as well. I can keep an open mind even when it concerns my favourite players :nerner:

GO MARK!

I should imagine he can defend his points, that is important, he needs a good run in the next 3 weeks to get back up the rankings, but this week was a pretty good one for him, beat two really strong grasscourt players and took another to 3 sets.

haase d. huta galung 6-2 6-2 , at the beginning of the year he was around 900 , now 400. melle also deserves a wild card, but haase is the best performing dutch youngster at the moment. I don't say he will make it but we will see. he deserves this wildcard. if you look at his 2006 results you only see quarters semis and finals, maybe 3 first round losses
