I'm thinking my play will be

Ferrero over Chela
Ferrer over Hrbaty
Gonzo over Lopez

Chela sucked ass against Greggy, and Ferrero showed the bug guns.. but can this hasbeen get back to his old form. Maybe Chela had a bad day and tomorrow he'll come firing again.

Ferrer is solid. I didn't play him against Massu today because was afraid of his injury. He seem okay since he beat Massu. DOM on the other hand has never been good on clay.

Gonzo over Lopez is a givemen. Can't beleive Hanescu blew the match and gave Lopez one of his rare clay master series win. Gonzo out to destroy Lopez tomorrow.

Back later make official play.

Starace to beat Soderling.

Soderling sucks balls on clay and yes he beat Davydenko in the first round but Davy is crap at the moment. Starace is a solid dirt baller and should have enough for Robin.

WTD: 3-3 +0.15 units

Monte Carlo

Chela +171 o JCF (1.5)
Starace -117 o Soderling (1.5)
Martin +1449 o Federer (1/2 unit)

GL all

Agree with Twisty on his leans - Ferrero, Ferrer and Gonzo.

I'd also look into Simon over Berdych, Gaudio over Acasuso, Ollie Rochus over Robredo (?) and Coria over Mathieu - all have odds over 1.40.

Kiefer should take out Llodra, although 1.33 is not probably not worth the anxiety and won't pay for much of the heart operation you'd need by the end of the year

QUESTION - why is Vliegen 1.61 over Hernych? I'd see this as fairly simple for Kris. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks :yeah:

Back in a little while with some tips / bets.

Well head to head they are 1-1, and Jan beat Kris last year on clay 7-6, 6-0. I think Jan is pretty decent on clay.

I still can't believe that tall waste of space lost to Feliciano "I'd rather be looking in a mirror" Lopez. I guess he used the glitz, glamour, and girls of Monte Carlo as motivation.

I like your leans as well Twist, need to go do some more research.

Starace is a very good bet. He is born in clay and his playing style really suites on clay court compared to big power serving Soderling.

Thanks for the info Twist - staying away from that match!

I'm taking a little bit of a risk, but it is high time I go for it!

Well the site has been down forever.. anyway I took two bets:

Ferrero @1.54
Ferrer @1.448

I had big leans on di Mauro, Simon, and Herynch but didnt take them since I had a poor start to the week and had to nail some solid winners.

Ferrero won easily and Ferrer came back from 2 breaks down in the 3rd.

4-5 WTD now... Now I can start taking some more risks.

Well, Gonzo provided way too much anxiety for me, but he came through. Pretty good day today, didn't get my picks up since the forums were down...

Ferrer over Hrbaty
Seppi over Nalbandian
Simon over Berdych
di Maurio over Stepanek
Gonzo over Lopez

4-1 on the day but Simon and di Maurio had good odds so up 4.5 units.

finally this website is working

still cannot believe how i won on Coria (i put 775 on him) and when he was down 1:5(betfair had him 20:1 at that time) in the second set i kissed my money goodbye but he put up a hell of a fight to give me 45% ROI

got lucky with ferrer as well

7:1 wtd (davy was the only wrong pick)
no idea about tomorrow's matches

Unbelievable comeback by Coria, down 1-6 1-5...

I woke up at 4am to check scores on the Ferrer match.. Saw Coria was about to bite the dust (told myself glad I didn't take that one), went back to sleep... Then woke up at 6am for reals and was stunned that Coria was in the 3rd set.
