He was well behaved today, despite losing 7-5 7-6 (5). He even served for the second set at 5-4.

Looking at the doubles draw, this tournament's choice of WCs is just very questionable. Especially when Scott and Alex were playing together.

Kuznetsov/Oudsema face off in the final round of doubles qualies tomorrow against Cuevas/Gubenco.

First year tournaments usually don't have any say in the WC's they hand out. The USTA usually makes that decision since they are entirely responsible for the prize money in the first year. They usually allow the TD to pick one of the wildcards, and it looks like this TD decided to have playoffs for his wildcards (that info is on the tournament website).

Well then the USTA is to blame, and why wouldn't they favor American players? That's a bit ridiculous, don't you think?

Well the non-american WC must be a Georgia resident, if he's the one who won the WC tournament. According to the tournament site, you had to be a GA resident to enter. And if he was, how can they say to him "no you don't play for the US you can't enter" - and the other two are Americans, so.....what's the problem?
