Players Who are Right/Left Handed but Play With Their Left/Right Hand?

Somebody brought this up in another thread, by stating that Escude is a lefty who plays right. I wonder if he wasn't forced to switch (as is not uncommon with natural lefties), or if it was natural for him?

Nadal is a right hander who plays tennis left, and apparently Moya is like Escude.

Any other examples?

Myself, I'm a natural lefty, but I play racquet sports right. I inured my left wrist in gymnastics when I was younger, so I compensated by using my right wrist more. Thats been my stronger arm since.

Which is he? A righty who plays left, or a lefty who plays right? :p

I have to ask, because I've only actually seen him play once.... and I"m too lazy to look up his stats at the moment to see which hand he plays with.

Isnt Acasuso a right-hander?...so i guess that must make him a lefty who plays right :p

THanks ;) I just needed to know what hand he played with.. I assumed right... but wasn't sure ;)

It sounded like a dumb question... but really... it wasn't :p

Escude was taught to play right-handed from childhood.

On the womens tour Kimiko Date and Sabine Applemans were examples of this except Date was left handed and played right-handed and Applemans was the exact opposite.
