Sunday Night

1* Chicago White Sox ML (-118) Over Cleveland Indians - 8:05 PM

Going with the World Champs due to the fact that they dominated the series with the Indians last season. The Sox were 14-5 against the Tribe and I expect them to get off to a strong start tonight. The Sox have gotten there offense going towards the end of spring. I think Thome who's been red hot so far will be the difference maker this evening. Also I trust the Sox bullpen with the likes of Cotts and Jenks over the Tribe's pen. Starting pitching is even with Buehrle and Sabathia. Opening night so it can really go either way but I feel the Sox raise the Championship banner and go home with a win.

Good Luck to All!!!!

White Sox bullpen has had problems this spring and doesn't look nearly as sharp as last year, however, Buerhle is one of those consistent inning eaters who can be counted on to go deep into games. Sabathia has struggled in the spring, so I'm giving the pitching edge to Chicago. Offensively, like you said, Thome has been red hot and will be looking to make a great first impression tonight against his former team. I'm going with Chicago here as well, but small since opening day is hard to predict.
