Only the one play for today, I figured since I had success with one choker in Davydonkey yesterday, will have a go with another one in Andreev...

Parlay:

Andreev/Blake - $2.55

Given the way the OOP is set out, if the above hits might double up on Rochus to take out Coria but we will see how it pans out.

I have probably had my worst tournament so far betting, the worst I can do is follow somebody who seems to only be winning this week. I will follow you here BG

May I ask why Andreev is so fancied?

May I ask why Andreev is so fancied?

It is probably because Andreev and Tursonov have met twice already this year on hard with Andreev taking both. However both matches went three sets, and Turnonov is coming off a challenger win and looked mighty impressive against Capdeville and Ferrero. I can't really get a good feel for this match and I believe it is extremely close to a 50/50. My gut tells me that it is the third time is the charm for Tursonov and he moves on, but I think I'm staying away from this one.

First play
Chakvetadze (2.61) over Myskina

Other potential dogs on the WTA side
Golovin (3.35) over Dementieva
Kirilenko (6.06) over Sharapova

My Blake x Grosjean x Henman looks safe, in my opinion.

Bro, why are you betting Ferrer?

I think he regains some good form and as you know he's one hell of a return player and has beaten Grosjean 2 times out of 3. At these odds I have to give him a shot.

Well I called the Tursonov win, it was bound to swing in his favor with the seesaw battles they have had.

Yes, Kirilenko won the 1st set, now whatever she does from here on is just gravy (2.76 on Sharpova to not win 2-0)...

Coria is still a tough player to play against. Neither him or Rochus serve well at all, so there will probably be more breaks than holds, it is another 50/50 match I think.

I dont think is weird. Before coria's serve troubles late last year he was able to beat top players.. and at the USO last year still made it to the quafter finals even all those DFs. Think he's corrected his serve so should be tough to beat.

I think I might make a play on Coria (2.33) now. His clay tour was less than stellar, but he is fully capable of playing at a high level on hard. He is 7-3 in his last 10 on hard losing only to Grosjean, Haas, and Nadal, and is 14-6 this year on hard. He looked great taking out Djokovic, a promising young player that was playing very good tennis while Rochus struggled to hold serve all game long against Mad Max. Mirnyi just couldn't convert on his break point chances, Rochus will be in serious danger if he gives Coria that many chances.

EDIT: Golovin you are awesome! :)

This tournament rocks... but not for me :p I wonder what would be the balance if we just backed the higher odds, allways with the same number of units... because a lot of uncommon results happening, and with greul, craybas, golovin, etc, we would make a fortune :p
