Andy will win the tournament easy!!!!! Wawrinka, gonzalez, nadal, ljubicic and co will all be ousted in fine style, can't believe i have to wait over a week and a half for the final against the fed express. Nice easy draw again for Andy.

On the bonus side should he not manage this herculean feat he will have some time to relax before DC!!

Being a little more serious. Wawrinka is good, but Andy can beat him. I would discount that match on indoor clay last year in DC. Gonzalez has been in very poor form of late, losing last week in 2nd round (first round bye) to Soderling in straight sets. It would be a good time for Andy to play him. What i would love to see is Andy v Nadal. I can't wait for their first match-up. Some good play could see it happen. For the tennis purist, nadal v monfils should be a good one to watch too!

Can't wait for it all to start! More late nights again, it will be a relief when he gets back to europe for the next few months!

I thought it was obvious i was being a little tongue-in-cheek!!!

Andy has a tough draw, but we shall see. Just checked the schedule of play tomorrow and he is the fifth and final match of the day on grandstand court. The preceding match will not commence before 5pm local time, so Andy should be on around 7pm local time i think! Don't have a clue when that is for us just hope its not too late! Not a chance it will be on tv here in the UK at all, so should be great fun googling at the courtcast scoreboard!

well he is on after current match between the two russians, zvonareva and dushevina...prematch i fancied dushevina but just lost first set so if it is a straight sets about another hour is about right, perhaps quicker!

come on Andy, would be a good win to beat wawrinka.

Well this match seemed pretty messy. I guessed it would go to 3 but with Andy on top. Soooooo many breaks in this match. Andy really seems to live and die by his serve. Well onto DC.....

Perhaps not onto DC since Andy suffered an ankle injury during the match:

Murray doubtful for Davis Cup tie

Andy Murray has been named in Great Britain's squad for the Davis Cup tie against Serbia & Montenegro, but says he is unlikely to be fit to play.
The Scot sprained an ankle during his defeat by Stanislas Wawrinka in the Nasdaq 100 Open in Miami on Wednesday.

He was subsequently named alongside Greg Rusedski, Arvind Parmar and James Auckland in Britain's squad for the Davis Cup tie in Glasgow in April.

But when asked if he might have to miss the tie, he said: "I think so."

Murray was beaten 7-5 3-6 6-4 by Wawrinka in the first round in Miami.

He suffered his injury when he slipped and split the brace he has worn on his ankle since last summer.

"Half an hour after being off the court it started to hurt quite a bit," he told BBC Radio Five Live.

"I think tomorrow morning when I wake up it will be a little bit sore. It would have been bad if I wasn't wearing my ankle brace.

"But it might not be the worst thing if I miss it (the Davis Cup tie) because I'll get some time off."

Murray is keen to get some rest before the gruelling clay-court season gets under way.

"The hardest thing is being away (from home) for so long and then if I do well I have to go straight into Davis Cup training," he said.

"If you think that out of the next 16 weeks you may have to play 15 of them, it's not the easiest thing to have on your mind."

I hope Andy can recover soon so we can seem him back on the court for the French, at least. Andy

Murray suffers early Miami exit

British number one Andy Murray lost 7-5 3-6 6-4 to Switzerland's Stanislas Wawrinka to crash out of the first round of the Nasdaq-100 Open in Miami.
The 18-year-old Scot broke Wawrinka twice in the first set but lost his own serve three times.

After taking the second set, he fought back from 4-1 down in the final set to level the scores but was broken again and the Swiss served out for the match.

And to make matters worse for Murray, he also picked up an ankle injury.

But the Scot played down the defeat afterwards, putting it down as a valuable learning experience.

"It wasn't too disappointing, I've lost worse matches than that," Murray told Five Live.

"I've got to look at the positives that I went a set down and served for the set in the first, and still managed to come back and get the second.

"I went behind in the third set and I kept fighting and got back to 4-4.

"I missed a couple of bad volleys in the 4-4 game but I can't be too disappointed - it's just another match, it's not the end of the world."
