A Federer-Agassi final would be perfect for the AO (well, any of the GSes, actually). Their games match up so well, and if both are playing at their best...wow.

Still, I'd have a hard time deciding who to support though. Roger would have number one ranking sewn up already by getting that far, and Andre could get that ninth to give him that special place in history. Hate to bring the subject up, but d'you think he might retire if he does win it?

I really hope he will at least give each major one more shot, and not retire before the US Open.

Andre is in Melbourne. He and Steffi and the kids went to their favorite Mexican restaurant there recently. Hopefully he will eat a lucky burrito and WIN THIS THING!!! :woohoo:

I certainly hope Andre dosnt retire if he wins. I dont think he will either. You could tell when pete won the open, in his interview, he just knew it was the perfect ending to a legendary carrer! I think andre will play as long as he feels he can compete with the young guns ;) A Federer-Agassi final would be great. Great contrasting styles. Although since im a big fan of both i hope it goes atleast 4 sets with lots of tie breaks. Kinda like their match at TMC. The Round Robin not the final, is something similar that i would like to see in Australia!!

A replay of TMC RR Roger vs Andre? No tennis can be any better, and as long as Roger wins again. Andre...I don't like to see him winning another GS. Sorry, I used to be a Pete fan, so don't want him to come any closer to Pete's record. Sorry for my selfishness.

Well he got an easy win over Seb...with Seb retiring of course.

He was hitting the ball so well today. More convincing form than we saw in the match against Paradorn.

Seb's retirement was really unfortunate. But surely Andre will be happy to be well-rested for his match against Marat or Andy. He will need that energy.

You always hate to see a match end like that, but ANDRE will focus
on the positive here ..... I think he will have plenty of energy and he is
going to need it against Safin (good riddance, Roddick).... GO ANDRE!
I truly believe this Australian Open is ANDRE's best chance for another

He can win again... It just depends on how him and his opponents play in the match... Everyone left in the draw is very good and anyone can win this... I think most of them have the same chance of winning...

Hoping Federer wins today... He's been stopped by Nalbandian too many times in a GS... It's his turn to win........
