Good Fortune:
(WC) GOLDSTEIN, Paul (USA)/THOMAS, Jim (USA)

Clearly prize money does attract singles names, so perhaps if other events offered more, we would see more familiar faces then..

Nah. I don't think Forget will play Gasquet/Grosjean unless he's really desperate or Llodra AND Clement are injured or something. :tape:

But the different is Croatia (Ivan :bigclap: ) and Chile don't have enough live rubber players to play for his country. :) France have so many players to pick,Sebastien and Gas mainly play singles.Even if Llodra and Clement are both injuried, other players such as Geal and Paulo could be picked to play doubles as well! :rolls:

Clearly prize money does attract singles names, so perhaps if other events offered more, we would see more familiar faces then..
Yes, there are way more top names entered here than you usually see. But it remains to be seen if they will all play through. It seems you usually get drop outs as the players advance in singles and when the schedule of their singles and doubles matches start getting close together, they drop out of doubles. If they all play through to natural losses, it may well be a first.
