Tennis Dream Night

The Little Dreams Foundation will be having a Tennis Dream Night in Geneva on December 8th.

The website is and is in French. To see the players list you need to click on the "Exhibition de Tennis" button.

Federer, Moya, Safin, Santoro, Rosset, Clement, Pioline, Escude, Mathieu, Mauresmo, Becker, and more, it is quite a list! Not sure how much the players are doing since the website is in French and my french sucks, but if anyone speaks French please check this out. :)

Well it doesn't really say much about how the event is played. It's all exibithon matches.
And you named pretty much all players taking part in it.

haha yeah i JUST realised it's called dream NIGHT...are they going to play doubles? how are they goign to fit so many matches into one night?

Hmmm, yeah it would have to be doubles I guess, and only one set at that, if they are going to get all those folk to play. Pity there's not much info on the format at the website.

I'm sure Doris will fill us in, even if she's not going, I think it's going to be on Swiss TV.

Hmmm...none posted on the Little Dreams website. Someone on Roger Federer's website said they went, and Roger won all his singles matches but didn't give any scores (yet). I didn't get any TV coverage of this so can't help with any results, sorry :-(

On the evening of December 8 the ‘Tennis Dream Night’ was held in the Arena de Genève (Geneva, Switzerland). In front of a sold out arena the players had to play 2 tie-breaks. In case of equity they had to play 1 more point to decide the winner, with a toss to decide who gets to serve.

Here are the results:
Roger vs Boris Becker 2-1
Yannick Noah vs Marc Rosset 2-0
Final : Roger vs Yannick Noah 2-1

It's not the fact they didn't bother to show up it's the fact that the people organising the event just said all these high profile players would be there so people would buy tickets.

Marat never intended going...they only said he would for sales. Same with Carlos I guess.
