Backing Henman to win Wimbledon...

Well, I know this will get a lot of laughter from our resident Aussies and Mikey in particular ;)

...but 51/1 could work, certainly each way at half odds.

Roddick and Hewitt would be his main problems in the draw and they are both going to struggle to find good, title-winning form now that the European clay season draws near.

Henman is proving he can still cut it with the best players, if only his back would help him compete more freely. If he can avoid Federer's half...

Not placed the bet yet but I will give it some though over the next couple of weeks.

Jez son, id like your chances more if you bet on Trinidad and Tobago to win the World Cup in germany ;)

He has more chances than Murray, who's at 18/1...

Henman's best chance was in 2001, unfortunately mother nature had the last say in that year.

Provided the Scud was an injury free lead up could make the second week. There is a dearth of players on tour with the capacity to make the second week of Wimbledon. If Timmy stays fit he is as good a chance as most to make the second week. Winning it however is an entirely different proposition.

Funny you are talking about that, I just bet on Henman to win Wimbledon @51. Great odds and except Federer, Tim,if he's on form, has got nothing to fear from anyone. Pressure will be on Murray this year. I think it definitely deserves a shot.

Tiger Tim will avoid Rogers half get through to the quarter finals. Play his nemesis Hewitt and defeat him for the first ever time 6-3 6-7 0-6 7-6 7-5. He will then face Roddick in the semis and crush him 7-6 6-3 6-2. He will then lead 6-0 6-0 5-0 40-0 playing the best tennis ever against Fed but then the rains will come and he will lose the match. :(

If the grass at Wimbledon was faster and lower, then Henman may be in with a chance but the truth is, the court plays like a slow hard court now which means Henman is level with the rest of the field. He may get to the 2nd week but further than that will be a tough ask.

No way. It is still a fast court. Slower than it was for sure but still a fast court.
