The Twins are in Vegas... Bob's shoulder had been hurt in Memphis but it seems the guys are gonna give it a go, because Bob is on the singles schedule for tomorrow. He plays Sam Querrey first up on Center Court tomorrow

Good luck, guys! :bounce:

They're interviewing the Bryans on TTC, talking about the Band a little bit

now talking about being #1 how it's hard, how they're the targeted, when teams play them they have no pressure but they just keep going for it and want to stay on top and no problem.

It's windy out and they're glad they weren't playing today, you just have to watch the ball and move your feet enough and hope you're talented enough to make it work.

Talking about pulling from the doubles - would've been too much serving today for singles and he wanted to be fresh for the doubles (he said he knew that was reverse from most players). So the good news is that they will play tomorrow and he seems ok :D

The guys just beat Fisher/Mayer 6-3 6-4 in under an hour. They had lots more break points and could probably have won more easily. But Bob's shoulder seemed quite fine so that's good :D

their dad interviewed them after, talking about how great it is to have 3 matches at night on the main court and stuff. They are having a great time in vegas, awesome to be there, the fans are awesome, having fun in the casino and hopefully we won't lose too much money. They're loving the run in GS finals, but not taking it for granted. They're happy and loving life right now. Asking about Davis Cup - thoughts about the team, they thnk they have a great shot b/c they're playing on grass, they're all fired up, think they're gonna have a great run, etc. Gonna be a good tie. NOw talking about Steve Bellamy and how he's great for tennis.

LOL Wayne told them to say hi to their grandma who just had eye surgery, that was adorable. And then Mike said hi to their mom since they hadn't talked to her in like a week and he also said hi to his girlfriend hehee.

Now they're signing a painting that an artist painted right on court during the match

Glad they pulled it out. I went to bed at 5 all. Must say the Bros timing seemed off in the first set and Coetzee( wnom I have never seen play before) was incredible that set! Ok win this guys!! And Blake too! Steve Bellamy would probably love it if Americans won;)

The guys won the title!!!!!!!!!!! 6-3 6-2!! Good solid doubles from them today, just the better team :D During the ceremony, Mike wanted his girlfriend Jennifer to wave and they showed her for a sec, she was adorable and blushing. Very cute normal-looking blond with curly hair - adorable :)

These guys are like 13-1 this year. :rocker2:

Stanford ATP Doubles Race leaders and World No. 1 team Bob and Mike Bryan improved to 14-1 on the season and claimed their 28th career team title with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Jaroslav Levinsky and Robert Lindstedt in Las Vegas Sunday.

The Bryans claimed the only break of the first set to go ahead 5-3 when Levinsky double faulted on the decisive point. The American twins then broke Lindstedt at 2-2 in the second set after also having break point in their previous return game against Levinsky.

The Bryans, who were forced to retire from the Memphis semifinals last week due to Bob's shoulder injury, won their second title of the year (Australian Open). Their only loss of the year came against Santoro/Zimonjic in the Sydney semifinals.

Levinsky and Lindstedt were appearing in their first final together in their third career tournament as a team.

Mike Bryan said: “It feels good to keep the roll going. We’re having an unbelievable start to the year and you know it just bodes well for Indian Wells and Miami where we really want to peak. But you know we’re excited we’re on a great run now, its great.

"Just gotta keep doing all the same stuff we are doing, I think we are on a pretty good level right now, winning the Australian Open, we haven’t lost since Sydney, so if we just keep playing with this confidence and keep going for our shots, and keep riding the wave we will be fine”.

Bob Bryan said: “It was actually a tough match, the guys served big and we won some 3-all points, but its great to get off to a such hot start in 2006, especially here in Vegas since we had such a great time, and its nice to get it done on the business side also.

"We need to keep playing like this and keep playing well in the big points. We’re going to have a lot of support in Indian Wells and Miami and you know if we can use the crowd well and stay positive I think we can have a good next month."
