J Henin Hardenne to beat K Bondarenko @ 1.04 ($100 to win $4)

Small stakes to kick off the day. I am going small because something bothers me about betting against Bondarenko...it always has and always will. I have always felt like she underachieves so much and burns you when you bet against her. Henin comes into this match with the confidence. Bondarenko is off to a so-so start to her season and I wouldn't be surprised if she puts up a big fight in this one. However, Henin is a good returner and I expect her to give the big Ukraine-born Ukrainian some problems. Henin is coming off some gutsy wins in Melbourne, losing to eventual champion Amelie Mauresmo. Bondarenko has not played many tournaments recently on this surface and her record in the Middle East is not as good as Henin's. This match has two/three sets written all over it and I am backing the woman they call JUJU!

Really like Arvidsson aswell mate, also think Hantuchova's odds of 2.75 is a mistakeor a joke, the hcp should be a gift but the way she has been going you can throw the hcp out the window n give it to Sletvana instead!!!Jarkkos odds are very tempting aswell!!!!

30 units on Jarkko Nieminen 2.29 over Mario Choker Ancic- H2H is 2-0 Jarkko with a comfortable last match victory,Marios confidence is down after a bad lost!!!

15 units on Daniela Hantuchova 2.75 over Sletvana Kuznetsova-Daniela should be the favoutrite IMO!!!!

15 units on Arvidsson 1.66/ Murray 1.28 @2.12 over Raymond n Shitler!!!

10 units on S Jenkins 3.35 over P Goldstein- Jenkins playing great tennis!!!

Other leans on Henman/Dent/Parmar!!!

Don't really like any plays so I'm just taking a small one today. This is a bit risky and not very confident so making it a small play.

Ancic x Steph @1.89 - small/medium play

Ancic over Nieminen - Last week I said Nieminen was overrated and within a few hours he loses to Simon. And the week before that Nieminen almost loses to Starace at Zagreb! I feel Nieminen may have started the year on the right foot but has headed south as of late. Additionally, Jarkko was very lucky to beat Ancic in a final earlier this year as Ancic does not perform well in finals. In fact, I think the only reason Ancic is up for grabs at 1.645 is because of that result! But Ancic is actually a better player and in better form. There is a lot less pressure in a R1 match and I expect Ancic's head to showup to this time! Maybe Ancic can show us the fiery and fire he used to beat Baggy, Grosjean and Ljubicic!

Steph over Lammer - Steph is a superior player to Lammer; add to that Steph loves the indoor courts and should demolish Lammer very quickly. These players are on different levels. Hopefully Steph in straights! Adding this to the parlay to increase the payout on Ancic since I don't feel it's possible for Lammer to wiN, and I'd have to be really brave and nuts to take Ancic @1.645

Other leans but not bets for now:
Henman over Tojo
Murray over Schuettler
Dent over C.Rochus

Yoel and co.
02-22-2006, 09:14 AM
15 units on Daniela Hantuchova 2.75 over Sletvana Kuznetsova-Daniela should be the favoutrite IMO!!!!

I'm with you on that one. Parlay of that and Pretty Boy Steph gives good value

As Dani's match should be an up-and-down affair (like all her matches), livebetting should minimize the risk

Great odds today :bounce: :

Nieminen @ 2.35
2-0 in H2H, and they're recent matches (6-2 6-2 earlier this year). I can't understand why Nieminen's odds are so long. Pound it!

Henman @ 2.05
4-2 in H2H, and yeah i know there not recent, but it's still an advantage. Henman's been coming of some good form and is value for these odds. This bet will hopefully be covered by a Nieminen win anyway.

The odds are great, but I feel that she can't beat Kuznetsova right now. She was lucky to get past Na Li yesterday.. not really in her best shape.

Parmer @1.95 over Meffert

Might be worth a few pennies. Parmer lost to Meffert in the qualies 7-6 7-6 but has since had a big confidence booster in the form of a win over Srichapan. Obviously not worth a big bet but the odds might make a small one worthwhile since this could go either way.

Dent @1.25 over Rochus

Can't see anything but a Taylor Dent victory since Rochus has absolutely nothing that can hurt Dent in the slightest.

My bet of the day is in the womens in Colombia:

Mattek to beat Szavay @ 2.35

When I first saw these prices I thought they might be backwards. Mattek is ranked over 100 places higher and has been solid this year, including a narrow loss to Fedak , who is playing very well and an easy win over Serra Zanetti

Szavay is young and may be getting better, but so far this year has brought 2 losses and a narrow win over Serra Zanetti

Even simply taking a line through the italian this price seems bonkers!

Mattek to win

I have thought long and hard, and its too late for a rethink as I'm already on!

I agree Szavay prefers clay, but Mettak has acceptable results on it too, including beating Czink in a final in November.

I believe clay affects the women less than the men, as most of them stand on the baseline and rally anyway! I prefer to look on form, and I cant see that Szavay has much of that at present.

Match starts soon, so we'll find out anyway!

-Murray to beat Schitter.. not much to say here. Shitter has been in the shitter for a while. He had a nice victory over Clement at DC but has been in the crapper this year and last year. Don't expect Murray to lose unless he beats himself here!
-Arthurs to cover +5.5 games over Roddick is a gift imo! Roddick can't return big serves and I doublt roddick can convert 3 breaks over Arthurs (yes 2 breaks is all thats needed if I get unlucky and 3/3). Feeling this match will have at leaset one TB and that's all that will be needed to cover 5.5 games for Wayne.

Boris to beat Mello @1.55 (higher play)

Shes 2-2 on european red clay in the last 2 years...I know most of her claycourt experience is on american clay....but like I say I dont believe the surface is as big a factor with the women. And Czink in the last 6 months has been pretty good!

I grabbed sko in pinnicale yesterday 3.65 (or something close) which is the same as +265 i think... odds change as match gets closer!

When odds for Simon over Moodie first came out they were 1.75.. within hours it went down to 1.55 .. so I guess early bird gets the better odds (or worser odds)

One of us will be happy anyway - I'm betting to win 2 units on Goldstein - Sko's going to have to at least qualify for a tourney before I stop betting against him...where did you get +256, he's at +209 on Pinny right now, I'm always on the lookout for better odds...GL

2 for 2 today w/ Massu, feeling better, though now I'm mad I didn't put any more on Goldstein - it's never enough :)

$300 loss yesterday after GGL decided he didn't want to show up. :o

Calatrava x Spadea @ +110 - $280 to win $308
Alex Calatrava is playing youngster Antal Van Der Duim, who has trouble winning matches in futures qualifying...should be a routine 6-3 6-2 victory, as Calatrava had to defeat another youngster easily in qualiyfing - Karan Rastogi. Calatrava is a former top 50 player who can be decent on hardcourt, notably pushing Tursunov to three sets late last year. Spadea plays Bobby Reynolds, I saw his match last year against Bobby and he played like total crap and still beat him through sheer guts. I hope Vince will be motivated and pull through, would be nice to get back my losses from yesterday on this one.

Stepanek 2-0 x Ferrer 2-0 @ +170 - $200 to win $340
Stepanek faces Michael Lammer, and Stepanek is a solid indoors player, can't see Lammer taking a set against the talented volleyer who just came off a doubles title defense in Marseille. Ferrer is playing the big hitting Minar, Minar is very hit or miss, but Ferrer's scrappy, counterpunching game should be too much for Ivo.

Good luck guys.

LMAO

she won 1 & 0

that must have been the easiest $2+ winner you have won in your life
