West Indies tour of New Zealand starts off tomorrow with a 20/20 match followed by 5 one dayers and 3 tests.

For the 20/20 match tomorrow, West Indies odds are $2.75.

Now, those odds are big in a 2 horse race and looking at both the teams, the Windies look stronger. I can tell you that everyone selected in the Windies XI tomorrow has been in good form in domestic cricket. Very good form.

New Zealand's bowling attack is weak but a drawcard is being Chris Cairns last ever match for New Zealand.

The teams are:

West Indies from:
Shivnarine Chanderpaul (captain), Ramnaresh Sarwan (vice captain), Chris Gayle, Daren Ganga, Runako Morton, Dwayne Bravo, Dwayne Smith, Denesh Ramdin, Jerome Taylor, Ian Bradshaw, Rawl Lewis, Fidel Edwards, Deighten Butler, Wavell Hinds.

New Zealand from:
Stephen Flemming (captain), Daniel Vettori, Nathan Astle, Shane Bond, James Franklin, Peter Fulton, Jamie How, Hamish Marshall, Michael Mason, Brendan McCullum, Jeetan Patel, Scott Styris, Lou Vincent, Chris Cairns (finale)

I can guess what the West Indies team will be.

1. Chris Gayle
2. Daren Ganga
3. Ramnaresh Sarwan
4. Shivnarine Chanderpaul
5. Dwayne Bravo
6. Dwayne Smith
7. Wavell Hinds
8. Denesh Ramdin
9. Ian Bradshaw
10. Jerome Taylor
11. Fidel Edwards

All up to Jerome Taylor can throw the bat. Chances are we might take Deighton Butler in as an extra bowler but Bradshaw, Taylor, Edwards, Bravo, Gayle, Smith and Hinds should be enough for us.

Dwayne Smith's game is suited to this and so is the majority of that team. Him and Bravo gives us flair - particularly Bravo.

Odds of $2.75 I can't resist - particularly with that lineup.

With that said, I'm taking Windies @ $2.75 to beat New Zealand to kickstart their tour in their first 20/20 match.

Good luck!

I can't say I agree either - I have the Kiwi's in a parlay with other sports

However if I see them coming onto the field tomorrow with headbands and facial hair I am laying off immediately.

lol BG

I have heard they are wearing the old bague uniforms which would mean it is quite likely they will have the above. I've parlayed em regardless :)

Fucking Bradshaw.

NZ were cruising 2/73 off about 9.4 overs and suddenly found themselves 8/111 with an over to go and 16 runs to score.

Bradshaw came on with Franklin and Bond at the crease and he bloody well made them draw it.

Bravo, Smith and Gayle brought us back into the game and then Bradshaw does that.

Winner will be decided by way of a bowl out!

If we lose this, I'll have Bradshaw's head.

Thats a tie. Winner will be decided by way of a bowl out

The bowl out has just started - New Zealand have won the toss and chosen to take first hit at the stumps
Astle will be the first bowler to take a crack at the stumps

First ball up, Astle misses the stump, just went past the off stump

Second ball from Astle, again in the corridoor of uncertainty, misses teh off stump again

Its going to be Dwayne Smith who will take a crack at the stumps for West Indies
Dwayne Smith bwols way down the legside, no help to his team this delivery Down the leg stump again, After the first round, both teams are yet to hit

We've had two rounds now and not a single bowler has hit the stumps
Jerome Taylor has been handed the ball now
Taylor's first ball misses the offstump
Taylors second ball misses again outside off
Shane Bond handed the ball now
Shane Bond strikes! first ball crashes into the stumps, hits middle
stump and puts New Zealand 1-0 up
Second ball from Shane Bond, full toss smashes the middle stump
again, its New Zealand 2-0 up now!

F*** you Bradshaw! This should never have come to this!

Bradshaw handed the ball now, first delivery slides down the leg
Second ball misses down the leg
Styris given the ball
He just needs to hit one for New Zealand to win
Styris's first ball hits the middle stump and New Zealand pull off
a fantastic win in bowl off

I hope Bradshaw doesn't play test cricket for us.

Shows what pressure can do to sportsman when they are taken out of their comfort zones.

Something like the first 8 shots missed lol

:haha: i know.

But really, it should have never gone to a play off. Bradshaw choked bad. I would have put on Taylor or Butler instead personally because Bradshaw is not that good bowling at the death.

This series is going to be closer than everyone thinks. - tonight proved it.

As much as u don't rate Bradshaw......I rate Franklin so low its not funny.....he is one of the worst cricketers to ever play for NZ.

He got lucky tonight with that 6, but over his career he virtually never perfoms against the top sides and does well enough vs the minos to get a run from time to time.
