Luczak over Wawrinka @3.3; some idiot traded that. 250 to win 575

The aussie will close it out. Wawrinka has shown that he can't handle pressure leading a Davis Cup team. He lost both his matches in Holland last year and just beat Murray in Geneva. And losing a set to Guccione, wow. Luczak has been impressive so far this year. He has played great Tennis during the Australian Open. His favorite surface is clay, where he beat the likes of Gonzalez last year. Cheers.

Luczak is a great call n good value IMO aswell,Stan got a huge serve n the red clay will slow it down to help out Luczak although Stans 2nd serve kicker is dangerous!!!Definetely more value with Luczak!!!Can see him winning this one aswell,go Aussies!!!!

I just picked up

Pierce over Momo @2.430..

Pierce had a bad AO but has picked it up. H2H pierce is 4-5 against Mauresmo. Momo had a tight match against golovin earlier today and Pierce made me lots of $$$ against schyder earlier today.. Just a small wager but I think Pierce will edge out Mauresmo! Also they played each other twice at the 2005 WTA champs, splitting sets each time (as well as splitting wins)... Overall id say this is a 50/50 match at most! Therefore, Pierce has great value!

Just read this.. didn't watch the match of Mamo against Golovin:

http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tennis/news/story?id=2326915

"Mauresmo seemed on her way to easily claiming the first set, leading 5-0. But Golovin ran around her backhand to hit forehand winners and leveled it at 6-6 after Mauresmo squandered five set points."...

Only wta will you see a 5-0 set end up to be 6-7 LoL

Stanislav Wawrinka -166 over Peter Luczak ($332 to win $200)

The stage is set and the pressure is on Wawa. If Wawa loses this one, it's all over for Switzerland and the good thing is I just don't see Wawa losing this match. Sure the pressure is going to be on for this kid but he has been good on this surface as of last season and he should do well again today. Wawa is 3-3 in lifetime DC matches and is now 3-1 in clay court action. Luczak did not make many mistakes in his opening match but he did get killed in the opening set and that could be of some concern. Luczak is now officially 1-1 in DC action after his first Rubber win against Switzerland and Michael Lammer. However, there is too much on the line here and Wawa is going to serve Luczak right out of this building. Luczak has not been a consistent clay court player over the years and the fun should continue tonight. The home crowd is going to be booming and it will all come down to this crucail matchup. Australia is 3-0 lifetime against Switzerland but none of those wins have come on the clay courts and I wonder what they can really do. One thing I know for certain is that Wawa is going to be ready for this one and his pedigree on the clay courts is much better than that of Luczak's. This is the Swiss kids home and he is here show why he belongs and wants to be a part of the fun. If you want to be a part of the fun, come and join me on Wawa and then watch Switzerland lose anyways.

I hope he wins for all of you who put money on him, but I have money riding on Australia to win the Davis Cup tie so I'm on him too. I didn't back Luczak tonight $$$$ wise. I was too late to do so. I don't want him to lose and it to go to the last match as I am tired and need sleep.

Any reason for thinking that?

Luke
02-12-2006, 12:25 PM
he did nothing serous on clay.. i saw him last year.. in sopot in qualies against polish fyrstenberg.. and he lost there playing nothing. Loosing to polish players it's really bad thing. All season wasn;t good for him on clay. After Sopot he played basically only on hard cours.. where he was quite good.

Bolar Bolabi

Luczak is a clay courter mate.

Anyway, he lost the first set after being a break up.

He will hopefully bounce back. If not, Guccione will have to play the match of his life.

Arthurs would be good in this situation - but he's friggin injured! :(

Luczak is clearly the better player there. Wawrinka is just too lucky at important times. The court is awful, the ball doesn't bounce probably, which isn't great for Luczak. But Wawrinka is a loser, he will show it today;)

clay courter without any success.. look at his play on clay last year the you will see why is that.

and basically i saw him twice on clay last year.. first in sopot and then in challenger in szczecin and can't tell he was good there.
