Predict-the-SCORE
Davis Cup Semifinals 2006

*Copyright alwayshingis - May 8th, 2004 -*

Predict-the-SCORE is a game in which you can predict the actual scores of matches on the ATP tour.

Throughout, you will predict the scores to 10 matches of your choice.
However, the matches must be chosen in this breakdown:

Day 1: 4 matches
Day 2: 2 matches
Day 3: 4 matches

If a match becomes invalid (withdrawals or a retirement during the match)
the pick is not counted and you may reuse it any other time during the
tournament.

As stated, you don't need to commit to play. :)

IMPORTANT

Those without a partner can start predicting first. We can do the pairing up later. ;)

Match-ups updated as far as possible. Match-ups that have not been announced yet have been deduced (marked by a ?) based on the logic of #1 vs #2 on Day 1. :p

Remember that you can make replacements in advance IN CASE certain players are replaced and certain matches do not materialise. ;)

Okay wait, let me just verify this all, okay SW, you know I'm slow sometimes.

So we each pick 10 matches, these can all be singles or doubles matches... we don't need to select the same ties as our partner or anything like that? Basically we are playing as individuals but our scores are combined? Yes?

A lot of us have similar patterns of predicting scores. Eg. Always 6-3 6-4 or 6-2 6-3. So unless her predictions are exactly the same, I'll treat it as a coincidence. ;)

 probably. I think I got 1 wrong, I had Melzer to beat Ancic in 5. If Melzer had won the 5th set it would've been a stunning day.

I was helped by my lack of faith in Roddick, and also my belief that Richie is the most inconsistent player around at the moment. I left both those matches off, virtually everyone else had Haas and Roddick.
