It's zonal play. Two wins and they play a playoff against a world group first round loser.

http://www.daviscup.com/results/ea1.asp

On the above bracket you win and go to the right, lose and go to the left.

Winner of Serbia/Israel play Britain. Winner of Britain v. Serbia/Israel plays a playoff tie.

No Nenad?

I'm surprised they kept Boris off the team, I mean he is the highest ranked Serbian player.:o

They didn't keep them off the team... I believe they both chose not to play. Boris is over in South America playing on clay already and everyone else was doing indoors in Europe.. I would assume Boris not playing may have something do with I believe he's only won a handful of hardcourt matches in his career and is a claycourter and this tie is not on clay.

I had seen elsewhere that Novak is supposed to be in the doubles, not Bozoljac... but... I don't know.

Nole's official site says he's in the doubles... that's why I'm just a little confused  I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Hey guys :wavey:
There are some reports that Novak is injured in his left shoulder, there's a chance that Bozoljac will play instead of Djoko.
If it'll happen there's still a chance for Israel to comeback, at least according to the reports that Okun played great against Djokovic...

:crying2: WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?! As for GREAT chance to come back... Bozoljac did beat Sela in the qualifying for Zagreb just last week in straight sets.

Oh, now the same site that said that Novak will not play says that probably he'll be fit for tomorrow.

Anyway I'll be here to update only from the end of this match
