My first play:

Karlovic x Ljubicic @ 1.74

Analysis: http://www.triplethreatsports777.co...ted=1#post10176

Malisse @ 1.40 to follow

Good luck! :yeah:

Thinking of doing the following:

Henman x Dr. Ivo @1.927 (medium wager) - Henman should outclass seppi while Karlovic is unbreakable and will get break chances

Agassi x Malisse @1.691 (medium wager) - Both players outclass their opponent by several levels.. both in terms of ability, achievement, and stablity

Still thinking about this wager:

Youzhny @4.1 (speculative small wager) - Stretch Ljub to the distance both times they played. Ljub wasn't impressive with Murray and I think Youzhny can come up on top if he gets lucky... and if he does get lucky so will I :). I think ljub is too low at only 1.20 to stick him in a parlay especially with a dangerous opponent.

I'm laying off today, but I'd stay away from Malisse, Mayer's got a strategic slicey dicey game which can trouble anyone. Xavier likes to have time to line up his shots and deliver the knockout blow, but Mayer's low slices will be hard to knock winners off of so the X-man will have to be patient, somehting he's not known for. I'm sure you guys know how Malisse can get even after a single break of serve.

If I was betting tomorrow I'd probably lean towards a marginal amount on Youzhny over Ljubicic, he stretched Ljubicic to five during Davis Cup on greenset. I see no reason why he can't do it here, he's a dangerous player and a good returner of serve. He's got the game to break Ljubicic and a decent serve to back it up.

That's my two cents...

ok, I'm back after a couple days off to avoid going on tilt - only 1-2 on the week but sensed it coming - I like Henman a lot here, Seppi's had success this season, but not against anyone against Henman's class (hey, Hewitt was sick), & Henman is coming off a nice w & those 2 facts are good enough for me

Mayer @ 2.60
Saw him at the AO. Thought he played well.

Garcia-Lopez @ 5.00
Wouldn't normally, but at those odds it's worth a shot, especially seeing how Agassi was pushed last round against Delgado (who i consider not as good as garcia-lopez)

Gonzalez x Montanes @ 2.00
Gonzalez is pretty safe (I hope ;) ). Montanes is 3-1 in head-to head against Ramirez Hidalgo (http://www.atptennis.com/en/players/headtohead/head2head.asp?player1=Montanes%2C+Albert&player2=Ramirez+Hidalgo%2C+Ruben&playernum2=R383), including the last 2 (on clay).

pretty stingy by the book to only offer +4.5 on GGL against Agassi, when his ML is around 4.50 ... i remember earlier how Cilic got +5.5 against Seppi, with his ML @ 3.20 !!! :(

Any particular reason for that one mate?

former junior french open champ - unfortunately i have not yet had the chance to see him play but from the stuff i have read he seems to be a bit of a late bloomer, went off the rails a bit for a couple of years so that is the reason why not many have heard of him.

small play, figured it was worth a shot given all the upsets that have been floating about, though i realise it would be a tall order beating a local

Betting on the HC is probably the more smarter move in this case.

For today I've taken one no risk bet in combo with one risk bet.
First no risk is Karlović over Koubek, firstly of all I don't know how Koubek beat Wawrinka, but he's crap nowdays, he's going to have problems on serve even against Karlović. Now Karlović has raisen his BH (ha can hit big FH, last year he used to play only on FH, now it's different) also his voley was great, against Ančić he didn't miss any. Ančić was higly motivated but Karlović made some good returns anad he made breaks when it was matter. Also Karlović plays @ home and he has big support.
Other bet is Ljubičić - Youzhny, they played last year on same surface and Ljubičić won 3:2, now Ljubo is favorite, but he lacks the fuel, he isn't fresh adn that's only thing what vorys me. But his serve is flying on target and from time to time he raises game from basline to the max.
So that's my double. GL

lee over spadea? please explain that one.

Call it a "hunch" ... only small wager..

Spadea sux ass for over a year now, don't think he knock several back to back matches.

Also grabbed Ljub x Ivo .. didn't get Mikial because the line for Ljub moved from 1.2 to 1.3 which has better payout potentials for the double.

Well I can, it's going to be 3 setter, game from basline, booth like to play in USA and I can see it as a toos of coin...

Horatio Caine
02-03-2006, 04:46 PM
I think Spadea will win that one. It is in the USA (he performs relatively well there), on a medium - paced court, and Lee is the type of opponent he could out-grind. Equally though, Lee could very well win it - but I think it is unlikely. One to leave really.

Lee can easily win that match - Spadea had trouble w/ Wang, was 0-3 coming in, 0-2 lifetime against Lee, while Lee took down Ginepri this tourney - & I'm just going to stop thinking about it before I talk myself into a bet on him :) that's an easy no play imo
I'm adding Malisse over Mayer - if you're going to take Malisse, may as well in Delray where he's done great over the years, against a player that's usually better on clay.

Agassi's ankle didn't seem to be well in his last match. And the line has moved against him up to 1.40 which isn't a great sight. GGL would have taken the chances Delgado had in the last match. Good Luck with it:p

Wonderful Hingis over Sharapova @2.9:confused:

Hingis CAN trouble her with those brilliant angles and the mixture of her game. Hitting hard won't really help you against Martina as there will come something back, what you wouldn't expect. Santoro-like, just more talented. That's a gimme!:)
