Few coins on:

Baghdatis to beat Federer - $6.25

Once some prop bets come out will have a closer look.

Mixed Dubs:

May as well keep riding this pair, Bhupati/Hingis to win - $1.50

If you haven't bet yet, I'd hold off on baggy 'til later - w/ people's choice, odds usually drop closer to the match, but who knows...gl

*edit* lol, i just reread - nevermind, betting baggy now is smart - too late here!

Baggy lost to fed in straights a few weeks ago and last year.. hmm wonder if he has a chance to take a set.. i already have a few coins on him to win, but thinkin about puttin a real stake on "Not fed in 3-0"

Well, after seeing Willhill add some "specials" for the final today, I thought I'd make one final bet this fortnight:

Total games under 37.5 @ 1.72.

Impending bet: Federer outright @ 1.50

Basically, Federer will be geared up for the final and will be looking to play more of the good stuff he executed in the last 2 sets against Kiefer. I think he has a good chance to lead like Bandy did the other day (6/3 5/1) - only Fed will actually serve it out at the first or second opportunity. He has beaten Baggy comfortably in their 3 previous meetings...and I think he will certainly be capable of pressurising the Cypriot's serve on several occasions per set. I see a comfortable straight sets win for Federer (provided he serves well)...or 3 comfortable sets in his pocket, and one tight one squeezed out by Baggy. Either way, the total games should be under 37.5 (65% chance).

I'm not going to put coins on Baggy - Federer has a phenomenal record in finals, stretching back almost 2 years...I don't think Baggy will have enough reserves or enough firepower to finish the Swiss off. Add to that, it is his first GS final, and no matter how relaxed he has been up till now, or appears to be on the day, he will probably be a little nervous and certainly inexperienced.

Good luck! :yeah:

How you getting fed @1.50 ? Anyway I doubt bagman will be nervious. With a 6-0 five set record and tons of pressure on him already he has shown to be a very composed player. He has closed out every match when needed.. Closed out Roddick at love I think? Closed out ljub and nalbandian easily too. Didn't double fault or make bad judgement shots etc...

Fed will probably win yea but under 37.5 games is gonna be tough. That's virtually saying Fed will win in straights. GL. I might just put a small land not fed 3-0 or Over 37.5.

I'll follow the tradition and toss a few coins on Bagman. I did the same when he played Ljubo, Roddick and Nalbandian, so it's more of a superstitious bet.

Twist i believe the Cypriot GOD will win a set IMHO,if Keifer took a set of Fed while not playin to crash hot therefor a hot Baggy will take a set of Fed whether its gonna be the 2nd or 3rd who knows!!!!

Fed hasnt won in straight sets for the last few matches  now facing an opponent on top of his game with confidence plus a hard cookie to crack, tell that to Lubo n Nalbo ;) Baggy has the weapons to go with Fed atm!!

My options are only sets betting but if i had that options of Baggy winning a set i would take it open handed like a newborn baby :D My thoughts on this game is likely a 4 setter but a 5th set is not out of the question!!!

I have some pending basketball parlays right now. If its a winner I will use half profits of that and put it on Not Fed 3-0.

Add:

Baghdatis to double fault under 3.5 -- Using bonus dollars for this play

Baghdatis has served well under pressure double faulting between 1-3 times in 5 and 4 set matches. If this one is a quickie 3 setter, I don't see how bagman can hit more than 3 doubles. Also, fed doesn't really go for his shots on 2nd serves returns but rather chips the return and relies on his movement and groundstrokes to build the point. This will put less stress on baggy. Obviously he will be nervious but he closed out roddick, ljub, and nalbandian serving for the match and didn't double under heavy pressure.
