Another boring Saturday

Not much to wager on..

JHH vs the Man Mauresmo

....

I think I might lay off bets for one night or just put a tiny wager on JHH. They're head to head 4-3 and split sets many times. Thinking this will be a coin flip even though the odd makers give Mauresmo a much higher payout.

I think Mauresmo at 2.75 is definately worth a bet....

JHH has been rather unimpressive thus far, I've seen most of her matches and she's got through most of them by fighting rather than quality tennis. Mauresmo has been a lot more impressive in her route to the final. We all know her choking abilities, but I fancy this could be her moment. She will be helped by the fact the roof is closed, the spin she gets on her groundies will be exagerrated and I fancy this could cause JHH some problems.

I bet to win a unit on the Bryans - they've just been rolling through the tourney & I followed the Paes/Damm match online - don't know which, but one of those dudes struggles to hold every service - I figure the Bryans will close out those opps much easier than the Polish duo Paes/Damm faced last time.
good luck to all

Fair play to Justine Henin-Hardenne

Going with the experience here. Best player since Graf/Hingis.

We're thinking the same way today so you shouldn't be confident. :(

Hingis was never that good.

She just came along during a weak period in women's tennis.

Well, come on Freak - look at how Hingis matches up to the Williams sisters, Clijsters and Henin. They all flog the sh*te out of her.

If they were around earlier, Hingis would never have won a slam.

Hewitt had exactly the same fortune with his 2 slams - post-Sampras and pre-Federer.

Seles would have better filled the void after Graf began to diminish, but that wasn't to be unfortunately for her, and luckily for Hingis.

The thing about power is that you have to control it. It does you no good when you hit 3 winners and spray 5 balls out. That's why Kimmie lost the 2nd set to Hingis a few days ago.

cheeseburgers, fries & cokes for everyone! ;)
what an entertaining match, that paes is fun to watch, damm wasn't very impressive though, tentative & it was his serve that was broken in the third...also, as lame as the bryans chest bump is, what's lamer is opponents immitating it, esp. on their way to a loss

Seems like betandwin pays out. If you backed Mauresmo, you get your money returned, Henin backers lost their bet. Useless morons, another reason to skip those bastards

Come on Jimbo,Hingis may not have all the weapons those women possess but what she does have is a better tennis brain then the Williams sisters,Clijsters and Henin ;)
