That's the way to do it Rog. Nice and quick. I think StarSports said the match lasted 1 hr 12 mins. :yeah:

Kim. I don't mind her but I would be super pissed if they show her over Roger and she is scheduled to be shown so I fear the worst.

I'd be pissed if they showed tape delay of Roger over live tennis. Of course they won't do that. And if they replay a match early in the morning it probably will be Fed.

Good win, Roger! Everything today will be shown tape-delayed (unless they show live from 02AM to 06AM which I doubt), so I guess I'll see this match. Great stats too. :)

Hey, please don't use Nadal's nickname to describe Kim ( :hearts: ).

I would agree with you normally but I can't bear to watch another women's tennis match. ESPN has saturated its AO coverage with women's tennis. If they won't show Roger, atleast they should show a live men's match.

It was all business today for Roger. Nice Job :) I think I'm enjoying the AO even more because I have a combination of Star Sports and ESPN...........

But I think people would be pissed if they showed tape delayed tennis when live tennis was being played. That's why they have coverage the next day during the day - to show stuff they couldn't show live the night before (I think).

only thing is a lot of their afternoon coverage has been repeats, and not even matches that were on way late.

No Roger. I will wait for Hingis then. I just know they won't get to him tonight. :(

Maybe they will show Roger tomorrow then. I hope so because I want this match on tape.

This is my first chance to see any AO. I'm delighted to see Kim, and definitely want to see Martina, but 3 points of Roger. That's bullshit...Hey, why should they show the Greatest player ever to play the game. If they are going to continue on this way through the year - which incidentally they may - the answer is twofold - Call espn & scream like hell. And REFUSE TO WATCH ANY OF IT IF THEY DO NOT SHOW ALL ROGERS MATCHES. Fuck 'em in the ratings.

If they made it 30 points Ten, I would have been content for the night. :)

Yeap that was nice and tasty and especially quick - which can't be underestimated in that heat saves energy for the next round!!

Good job Roger!!

LOL its crazy to even think that Roger can gain more points to his ranking and widen the gap with Nadal being out. Good thing Federer finished the match fast because it is getting hot outside but he should have provided his opponent a drink to was down all those carbs (rimshot).

First bagel of the year for Roger

Great for finishing the match quickly this will save him energy for the later rounds :yeah:

Maybe they will show Roger tomorrow then. I hope so because I want this match on tape.Earlier tonight the tape said that there'll be an "encore" presentation of Roger's match Thursday, 2 PM EST. Hard to trust paid professionals who either don't bother or know how to use a dictionary, so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

While I agree about the coverage not being up to par (when has ESPN ever been), I'd rather not see any of his matches if it means he'll take home the title.

I didn't see much of his first match but from what I saw showing the entire match would have seved two purposes, at least: to enable his fans and the wider world to see Roger play and to allow us tennis fans (who've never seen him) to see his opponent (for shame, I can't remember the youngster's name), who seems tohave a pretty nice game.

I never knew the wisdom behind giving ESPN three of the Slams. May as well have been all four because USA's coverage has become very much like ESPN's of late. All-American, with the exclusion of the obvious distant, dominating No. 1. Their coverage is montonous and most of their commentators are assholes.

I saw Hewitt's first round match four frigging times and there were TONS of matches of interest and drama that you only saw the score on their scoreboard update.
