paradon is always involved in long grueling 5 setters
must be tough to both
in this heat long matches are bond to affect the players
good luck to kiefer

It was nothing? People are way too sensitive
I guess this ugly lineswomen is not even worth to be stared at or to be looked at ;)

Yeah Kiwi! It was not great play, from time to time it was pretty awful to watch how passive he was when Paradorn was swinging forehands at him and you knew Kwii will lose the point. But great comeback to win that tiebreak and then the next two easy sets :yeah: Hopefully his ankle will be fine for the next match, he didn't look like 100% in his movements :scared: :(

 BTW, I liked the 2nd warning :smoke: :p

I think the ugly lineswoman should be happy, when a man like Kiefer is looking at her.

I'm not sure about the warning though. They only showed the scene from behind, so we don't know what he really did. Maybe he was innocent.

Like JMG said, TV pictures only showed a slow-motion of the alleged "obscene gesture" from behind. All I can say is that I have seen many more relevent "obsence" gestures than somebody grabbing and fidgeting the leg of his pants. But it was strange, I agree. And coincidence, it happened after this call :p But it wasn't like that he was grabbing his crotch or balls or that he was lowering his pants ;)

Judging from TV pictures I think the call was very correct about that Kiwi was (unjustifiably) upset. I think he was imagining something or he was just trying to look for something that kept him fired up because the match was pretty much a self-runner at that time. Hard to say, but I can't think that a player can honestly be that wrong to think this ball was out when it looked like a hand width inside the field on TV  From rational viewpoint, arguing about something like that is of course totally unnecessary at a score of 4-0 and 40-0 for Kiefer or what it was at that moment. But whatever, I'm happy with the win!
