nonono, i just havnt posted the names yet because i can't confirm he's playing in AO until the qualifying draw is published.
but there was report on his website that he will be going to AO nxt week, so im pretty sure he'll be playing. :)

yeah both ti chen n peng sun r in the chinas futures.

btw, the draw was just revealed live on tv in aust.
Our 4 players already in the main draw have been placed against very tough opponents in the first round!!!

Denis istomin plays roger federer :eek:
Hyung-taik lee is also in federer's part of the draw and can meet in 2nd rd!!

Srichaphan plays a seeded player in the openeing round, think it was kiefer, its very tough first round! :(

yeu-tzuoo wang is the luckiest, hes not playing a seeded player in the 1st rd. so hopefully he make the most of that luck of a draw :)

Go Soeda fought valiantly against 5th seed, Austrian Olivier Marach but Marach won 6-7 7-5 6-4. So close :( Kyu-Tae Im also lost but to 30th seed, German Dennis Gremalyer 1-6 4-6. Yen and Udomchoke both won their matches. The suprises of the day came from Norikazu Sugiyama against Dudi Sela. Sugiyama won 6-4 7-5. The other japanese player, Motomura also won his match.

totally agree soeda was at times ahead in the match too even in the last set he was once up 4-3 very good fight but also very unfortunate. i think he's the best japanese player at the moment.

yeh the results of the japanese players surprised me, but there were like 5 japanese players to start off with 2 left in the final rd.
im dissapointed none of the indian players got through, i thought rohan had a good chance.

suzuki lost in the 1st rd. :o

@thomas, i agree, altho :sad: for paradorn n hyung. both fought hard, especially para seemed to have full control leading 2 sets to love n ahead on the third set..well things turn ard completly after he lost the third set tiebreak.

now our hopes lies with jimmy, hes the only asian player lefted on the men's side.

actually i think his recent form isnt that bad. plus its only the start of the season, he'll improve with every tournament. ;)

i havnt really looked at the doubles draw, but i know some japanese n indian players r in it. Good luck to them, singles at AO 2006 has come to an end early on the first week...
hope they train hard n can see more asian players in main draw by roland garros
