:) Hello Esther,
You remember trying hard to send me the translation of stories about Grosjean & Clément? Somehow my hotmail address didn't work. Don't know why. I've got a yahoo address, brunsborg1986, and I would be so happy and grateful if you would try once more and send the translation to the new address. If that won't work either, then stuff it all!
Then I'll try to be happy about the pix all you guys show at the forum...
By the way, how many of you have actually bought the book?
:worship: Thank you again for all the hard work, can't tell you how much I really do appreciate it.
Oh - and GO GROSJEAN GO!!! You can do it!MASTERS HERE YOU COME!

ok it didnt work...ur address is brunsborg1986@yahoo.com yeah? i dunno but it said it didnt work!! i think the easiest way for it to work is if i send it to you over msn or if someone else would be kind enough and try to send it to you ...

Alison

I've just sent it to you.Let me know if you get it or not :)

Okay, I'm getting pretty upset now with both hotmail & yahoo!!! Don't understand anything, but nothing seems to happen at all! I can't figure out why. Anyway, thanks for trying, Esther & Alison.
Hmmm, don't really know anything about msn - tell me, how does it work? Is it like hotmail & yahoo, with an ID and an address? As you can guess I'm not terribly good at IT and technical stuff.
Good grief, like Charlie Brown would say!
That's actually what my classmates used to call me in high school - Charlie Brown or Brownie. My surname translates as 'brown' in English...
AARRGGHH!!! I want that damn book more than anything now!

Hi Ubrunjensen, the e-mail I sent to you came back as 'un-delivered'

E-mail me,and I'll let you know if it works.

Okay, what's your mail address?
God, I really hate my computer right now!
Seems to have lots of problems concerning mails.

Alison

Tried to pm you,but it won't allow.Why don't you want pm's?

esther
10-23-2003, 07:38 AM
Hey i was just thinking..would it work if i tried and POSTED the whole book?!!!

You're going to think i'm INSANE looool or just sad...but newayz i was bored last night so i decided to type up a 'best of Passing Potes'...kind of for Marine as well coz she only has the english version so i was thinking maybe i could just post that and get the english of that for the meantime...or just post the whole book

ubrunjensen
10-23-2003, 04:30 PM
WHAT??? Do you actually mean what I think you do? Are you talking about POSTING me the damn book? Send it by regular mail?
Oh, Esther, Esther, crazy Esther, lovely Esther!!!
My computer has a serious problem (don't know what it is, but my computerfreak friend does and tells me it needs a thorough cleaning to make hotmail & yahoo really work) - so e-mailing the book probably won't work at all.
But by real, normal mail...
I would love that! Just wondering why you are such a generous person, doing all kinds of crazy stuff to help someone you basically don't know??? But I'm happy, believe me!
Can you mail the book in a way so that I get to pay the postage? I want to pay the postage, of course, that's the only thing to do. If not, is there anything from the kingdom of Denmark that you would like to have??? A cow, amber necklace, fairytales by HC Andersen, flowers, you name it..?

Hi Alison, what is pm?
I hate the stupid computer! Nothing works, apart from the internet connection. Just. At least I can get on this forum...

Alison
10-23-2003, 06:34 PM
A pm is a private message :) You can send one to anyone who posts on here.Anyone except you it seems  ;) If you look at the bottom of a posting you'll see 'profile','buddy' and stuff like that. It's sort of like sending an e-mail to someone without using their e-mail address.

I don't want to put my e-mail addy on here as I have had to change my e-mail addy before due to some freak/s hassling me   (Not on this site may I add :) )

Alison
10-23-2003, 06:38 PM
Go into your 'profile' and have a look at your options.

We had the same trouble with our computer a while ago.Stick with it ,it'll be okay :)

10-24-2003, 08:07 AM
Ah, I see, for some reason I don't have the pm sign at the bottom of my postings...has this anything to do with how I filled in my forms when joining the forum? Don't really remember what I did back then. Can I go back and change some of the information?

ubrunjensen
10-24-2003, 08:10 AM
Esther, have reread your message. Do you mean regular mail or posting the entire book/translation to me here in the forum? A little confused.
Seems it would take up a lot of space if the last - would be really great and a lovely thing to do if the first! No end to my gratitude in any case.

Alison
10-24-2003, 08:13 AM
Hi Ubrunjensen! :)
You can go into your 'profile' and change it. :) You'll get it sorted :)

ubrunjensen
10-24-2003, 09:21 AM
Simple question: how? When I'm in my 'profile' I realize I don't know the initials used and don't understand about Messenger handle.
Does pm require that I do something else first, like getting a Messenger adress?
Sigh! I wish I knew more about computers and internet and stuff! Just never really interested me before...

LooOOL...ook no i actually did mean just post as in post ON THE FORUM post but i could always mail it to you?? But it would be pretty pointless if we could actually GET the document sent to you (over internet) coz then you could print it out yourself and it'd save me MAILING it but yeah that's always an option?? If all else fails i'll mail it to you but i'm sure we can get it to you before that...

newayz no you dont need msn before enabling PMs...did you see if you go to options or profile or something you can just click enable PMs but it'd be good if you could download MSN then i could send you Passing Potes through that!

ubrunjensen
10-24-2003, 01:05 PM
Oh, sounds good to me! of course, if I could get it over the net it would save us all a lot of trouble and it would suit me just fine. At the moment, though, you shouldn't try mailing me on hotmail or yahoo coz I experience strange problems with my computer.
I will try and get pm as well and downlowd msn as soon as I can.
Thank you for being so patient and understanding.

esther
10-24-2003, 02:09 PM

With this kinda speed I'll probably be on msn within the year...Ha ha!

Way to go Ubrunjensen! :yeah:

ubrunjensen
10-27-2003, 01:39 PM
Nice with encouragement!
Any idea when he will play Davydenko/Henman?

Alison
10-28-2003, 07:27 AM
He plays Henman on Wednesday

ubrunjensen
10-28-2003, 11:19 AM
Henman...hmm...I rather like Henman, he's one of the few real serve-and-volley players left, and the poor guy has to shoulder the hopes of a nation every summer for two weeks! Don't know how he copes with the pressure! From what I saw on Eurosportnews he looked pretty impressive against Davydenko - but didn't really play that well against Nalbandian last week. Fortunately, Grosjean has beaten Henman the last couple of times - let's just hope he can do the trick once more!

ubrunjensen
10-28-2003, 12:32 PM
By the way, Esther, hope you still want to send me the much talked about book - even if I did put my foot in wrong! Am still very sorry if I unintentionally offended anyone...

Alison
10-28-2003, 12:57 PM
and the poor guy has to shoulder the hopes of a nation every summer for two weeks!

Not the entire nation! :p :D .No-one cheers him on in our house! ;)

ubrunjensen
10-28-2003, 01:02 PM
Hi again, Esther, just to tell you (and everybody else, of course) that I'm on MSN Messenger now with my hotmailaddress, u_brun. If you want to send me the book, you know what I mean...

ubrunjensen
10-28-2003, 01:11 PM
Not the entire nation!

 I actually read the most cruel remarks about the poor bloke, on the net, from a live-coverage of his match vs. Grosjean in Wimbledon. It surprised me a bit coz in Denmark we're always told about how much the English people really admire and support him - you know, Henmania and Henman Hill - and I must say I didn't like the vicious things they said on that site! It was incredibly nasty and much too personal, they even went as far as ridiculing his wife, his family, his whole upbringing! :(
But I'm not that surprised that YOU don't cheer Henman - he's not really your type, is he, if one can judge from what else you like...? ;)

esther
10-29-2003, 04:43 AM
ooh cool ubrunjensen- i added you.

Hey you guys dont have @ on your keyboards do you??! i noticed that when i went to england but are all keyboards like that over there?

ubrunjensen
10-29-2003, 07:51 AM
Don't know about England, but in Denmark we do have @ on the keyboard. At least, if your keayboard isn't too old.
And about my wonderful msn: downloaded the stuff without any trouble, but now it seems I can't read my online messages - so what's the use??? I hate my computer! It seems there really is something rotten in the state of Denmark!!!

Alison
10-29-2003, 09:29 AM
Hey Esther,I've got an @,look:@ ;)

In England the only time the English nation watch tennis is Wimbledon  .The majority of people think tennis players only play for 2 weeks a year
For some reason they get patriotic over any sport with England or an English player in it.Then when they lose they get ripped to shreds by the same press that built them up to champion status in the first place

There's a little coverage at the mo about Henman's 'revenge',and no doubt if he wins it'll be in all the papers  The general public only hear about him if he wins, when he loses it's not reported. That's probably why the English think he's so wonderful, they think he wins every match he plays.

But I've just seen the interview with Seb on Eurosport news ,and I know who I'll be supporting ;) Give me Seb anytime :)

ubrunjensen
10-29-2003, 09:46 AM
Interview with Grosjean? I love my cable for choosing Eurosportnews as this month's dream channel! It will only last October out, but as long as I get to see Grosjean again...
Oh yes, no doubt about it, who cares about Henman when Grosjean is alive and kicking?

esther
11-01-2003, 12:21 AM
was the interview in english or french? u know coria got sick from his eurosport interview :(
newayz whhhhatt i always thought u guys dont have the @...coz a lot of people on other threads when they put their email they do like asd;lk at hotmail.com instead of the @

neway is the interview on the eurosport site? i'm going to go check

ubrunjensen
11-03-2003, 08:08 AM
It's too late now, of course, but the interview was on eurosportnews and lasted like 5 seconds, in French, with an annoying translation voice-over. Good to understand what was going on, but couldn't hear his voice at all!

esther
11-04-2003, 10:13 AM

shame that
