Moya out of Basel
Spaniard Carlos Moya has pulled out of next week's Swiss Indoors because of a shoulder injury, organisers said on Saturday. The world number seven notified organisers of the Basel event after being beaten by compatriot Feliciano Lopez in the Madrid Masters on Thursday.
Spaniard Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo moves into the main field, which includes the leading three men in the world, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Andy Roddick and home favourite Roger Federer.
Organisers said that the three wild cards for the event have been handed to Swiss trio Marc Rosset, Michel Kratochvil and Stanislas Wawrinka.
