Mektic took out the second seed, US Open Champ, Sweeting, in the round of 16

very nice, but transiton from junior to senior tennis has eaten some very big prospects

Cilic is doubtless the best and the great promise of croat tennis . His name has been sounding in the last years since he has always been considered as one of the best european players at his age . In 2002 was the runner up in European invidual championship under 14 , and last year was the European champion under 16.

This year won Roland Garros in juniors and is at the second poistion in Juniors ranking behind Young .

Very good serve , huge forehand, he has the talent so his future depends on himself.
