'Next Portsmouth Manager'

Ok, I was making fun about this market in the IRC channel yesterday, but Harry Redknapp's price has come down to around $3 and now it's starting to get interesting.
As you all know, Redknapp switched from Portsmouth to Southampton last year. A very controversial move, as those 2 are big rivals. Now, do you guys really think Redknapp would move back to Pompey? Nahhhh.
I'm laying him big on Betfair. In other words: Redknapp not to be Pompey's next manager @ 1.50 (10 units).

Oh and read this by the way:

And this quote might be interesting as well. ;)

'If I said I wanted to go back now, I would be crucified'

This is by far the best market ive ever seen on betfair. :D :D :D
All the news updates point to Warnock, but still there's massive money coming in for Redknapp. There's even money being traded around 1.05 on him. He's now around evens.
Pompey have been granted permission to speak to Warnock by the way. Vamos Neil, sign the goddamn contract. :D

Redknapp won't switch sides again...it all leads to Warnock, who is making a bad decision...

Sky Sports report: Warnock stays.
Still confident though it wont be Judas Harry.

Yes, that was quite a surprise. Odds for Redknapp are 1.15 now

If he goes back, both Pompey and Southampton fans will hate him...now that's something

Smart move by Warnock.
Mandaric wants to speak to Redknapp about the vacancy.
If he goes back now after all that's happened he'll look like a total fool.

I'm in love with Rupert Lowe. He has refused Portsmouth permission to talk to Judas. :D :D :D

Interesting what's happening with other managers...Willhill had a bet on who will be the second Premeirship manager to lose his job, but they have suspended it for now.

It seems that Newcastle - Aston Villa is a crucial match for both managers.

If Newcastle doesn't win tomorrow, Grumpy Grahame might be fired (he said he will never resign...). If they do win, overrated O'Leary will be out.

Can't see any other managers in immediate risk, although my money a week ago was on McCarthy @ 7.5

Redknapp has resigned from Southampton.

Only Portsmouth fans can save me.

 @ ppl betting on things like this ...
Good to see Harry back in the PS, he belongs there... he should never have left pompy anyway
 @ saints considering clive woodward as a coach, would certainly be interesting... coach a rugby nation to win a world cup then a 1st Div football team

What a farce

Apparently there's gonna be investigations, there is rumoured to be suspicious betting patterns on Harry returning. Could be interesting.....

Jep, i also heard coz saints are pompey's biggest rivals... Harry went their to demolish them from the league and leave them high and dry
mission accomplished :p

waddya think the score will be on Monday night Adee when your mob take them on at home? Spurs @ 2/5 looks very nice and easy

 I dunno if I believe that. He's not even a Pompey fan, he's just a dodgy character that likes to wheel and deal, and can't resist a bit of extra cash.

I'm always a bit wary when it comes to a team with a new manager, they always seem to raise their game, but we should win, we're in good form. Should be a banker, but as I say, I'm always a bit wary.

yes, now that i think of it, fear 'Agent Harry' in his return
he'll put 11 players behind the ball the whole game...
can still get 2/5 odds on celtic over hibs, or pool at .57 over Middles...
no Gretna in action :(
Barca on sunday at home .33

Unbelievable. Harry was probably the only manager who could've pulled this off. Some of the betting was a bit dodgy though; the bookies stooped taking bets on harry becoming the new manager days ago.
I'm not a betting man, but if I was I'd bet on P'mouth getting a result at Spurs. Alot of the pompey players loved playing under Harry and he'll definitely inspire them.

:haha:

At Spurs we used to sing (whenever each player was playing).....

"Who's got a big fat wife, Who's got a big fat wife, Ian Wright, Ian Wright, Who's got a big fat wife". :singer:

Then it became....

"Who's got a big fat mum, Who's got a big fat mum, Shaun Wright Phillips, Shaun Wright Phillips, Who's got a big fat mum". :singer:

Then we ended up with (when he played for us).....

"Who's got a lovely wife, Who's got a lovely wife, Jamie Redknapp, Jamie Redknapp, Who's got a lovely wife" :singer:
