I've been following tennis for about 3 years now (and by follow, i mean obsess over) and i was just wondering just how big is the year end championship? is it close to a slam? As big as a masters series event? bigger? considering the competition (on a normal year....) i'd say its a big deal.....Can anyone post the points break down as well?

RACE POINTS:

slam:
1 R128
7 R64
15 R32
30 R16
50 QF
90 SF
140 F
200 W

TMC
20 for each round robin match win
40 for a semifinal win
50 for the final win
(so if the winner is undefeated in all 5 matches, he will have 150 in the end)

Its less than a grand slam but more than a master series
