Like him or not, the guy is everything that's good about sports, no need to add anything, just read it.

Great interview:yeah: I'm glad he has the same goals for 2006, he sounds very positive and I hope he'll be healthy during the whole 2006:D!

I am happy that he has included RG in his goals for next year. I hope that he can win AO so that he has a better chance to win RG. If he doesn't win AO, he will surely expend his energy on other ATP tournaments to maintain his #1 status and lose out on good preparation for RG again.

If you listened to the audio portion of his interview, he's very upbeat and happy and he even wasn't expecting to get this far. I don't think this has really hurt Federer too much at all. He has grown up a lot since when he was younger and he is taking losses with ease now!!!

Roger is so classy. I used to hate Roger until I started reading his interviews, especially the interviews from matches he has lost. He is a very good loser. He doesn't make excuses, nor does he cut down his opponent--even when the press prompts him to do so.
Roger gets a lot of respect for his play, but I would say he wins more in his conduct and words than on the court.

Very well put. He's a real gentleman. Very classy, with every meaning of the word.

Is this guy for real? An unbelievable tennisplayer but on top of that so classy! He is not only intelligent on the court, but also truly intelligent as a human being. And he has a good sense of humour. :D
:worship: Roger Federer!

Aren't we a bunch of lucky bastards to life in an era in which we can witness this man play? It's poetry in motion!

Especially some of the top WTA players need to read Federer's interviews. I don't think ATP players are so bad in giving credit to the other guy, but the WTA top 10...

It's good to know that people who may not be fans or he's not their favorite player can still appreciate as a classy guy and someone who's good for the sport. I remember when he won the Laureus World Sportsman award he was asked about it on ESPN and he said it was good for the sport that a tennis player could win an award like that.
