Roger will need to be on the very top of his game to beat David :armed:

Even so, it would be a struggle. David played much better today than Federer, there were times when Roger looked almost helpless in their RR match. It will be a function of overcoming the mental hurdles and winning the important points. I say Nalbandian in 4 sets.

just goes to show Roger always gets the toughest draws in this tourney :(

Fed in 4 sets, i dont care if Nalby is playing well, this is a final and the last one of the year. Also Fed really wants to have that winning record versus Nalby.

I think Roger will win this in 3. Nalby may be playing better but Roger will become Roger on Sunday and Nalby will unfortunately self-destruct on crucial points. If Nalby could not beat a rusty Roger in the first match, I don't expect too much from him in the finals.

Roger always wins the finals of the major tournaments. Nalba always loses finals of major tournaments. Is there really any doubt about who's going to win?

Sure, Nalba could make it competitive by winning a set or two but does he really have the ability to cross the finish line? He seems to get so nervous on the big stage.

I hope that Roge gets the win tomorrow (matches Macenroe tour record, matches ivan 3 T.M.C record, beats muster 35-win record, sets new 25-final win record).
david used to have a great record against him, but now Roge win the last 4.
I also read that david is 0-4 against No.1 (0-2 against hewit, 0-2 against Roge)

HOPP ROGE!!!!

So much is at stake for Roger tomorrow, he has faced big pressures before but that's certainly a must-win situation. Fortunately, these situations seem to help him focus on the match and let him play his best, so hopefully this will be the case tomorrow where he'll make those patches of good form he has showed in his previous matches in consistent play throughout the match to win it beautifully.

Nalbandian is playing well, so he definitely has a big chance if Roger comes up sloppy or inconsistent.

I hope it's a competitive match, but ends up with Roger winning it. I think he will, in 4 or even 3 sets.

Roger all the way!!!!!!! However, Nalbandian might give him a tiny bit of trouble and win one set, but Mr. Federer will pretty much pound him in the last 4th set, just like in the US Open final vs. Agassi. So, yeah I am ready for another out of this world performance by the king!!!!!!! :worship:

If David plays positively and moves forward to the net when he gets good opportunities he can win. Otherwise it has to be Roger. In their first match at one point David had won 9 out of 12 games playing attacking tennis. A long match may favour David's superior fitness.

Pick Roger, but expect close match.

It appears that David is playing better going into the final, which, given his game and past history with Federer, definitely puts him in good position to take the match. But at the end of the day, David is still David and Roger is still Roger, and that means the opposite outcome is just more likely.

Federer in 3. No doubt about it unless he retires from the match.
And some people still think Nalbandian can beat Roger !!! I think they should watch the match between the two at the US Open this year.
I'd rather not be in Nalbandian's place.

I pick for Adee-gee is bisexual , i mean he goes to bed with Paul and Henri at the same time ;) . Unluckily i don't see no option in the poll saying " Adee-gee is lesbian " because i was thinking in him and Andy Murray lying on a bed both wearing their kilts and giving each other affection :)

Final score : 3-1 for men , i mean at the end of 2005 he will have gone to bed with 3 men and only 1 girl

I don't particularly enjoy voting on Federer matches - a bit of superstition in that regard - though I think this match is going to be quite tight, whoever wins.

I did have a dream, however, a couple nights before the Nalbandian-Ljubicic match. It was the first dream that I can remember that I've had involving tennis. The dream was fuzzy, but I believe I saw a scoreboard or scoreline or something to that effect, and Federer had lost to somebody (I thought it was Nalbandian when I woke up, though I'm not totally sure now) in four sets, the fourth set - I believe - being a tiebreak. Of course, I also faintly recall a 9-7 set in there (maybe 7-5?), which would be impossible in this final, and I don't think you're supposed to be able to read coherently in your dreaming stage. The strange thing is, I cannot remember if I ever saw either of the players in my dream, or anything other than the scoreline (either it was the scoreline or me realizing that it was the scoreline of a match, if you know what I mean), but yet I vividly remember that I woke up once or twice that night, thinking that Federer had lost and feeling upset.

Wow, that was a convoluted mess, but I had to get it out. I just hope that the dream (or nightmare, depending on your perspective) doesn't come true any time soon, especially not tomorrow.

just like last time they play, federer will dominate with 1 set where he will be sloppy enough to let nabadian win. but i think federer's gonna be sharper this time around because last time he didn't play much and lack match time and his ankle prob bothering him... (hope it goes away)
